You don't say where you are, but have you tried tracking in the local postal system, where I am NordPost (SE) items always get delivered by the Special Delivery postie. I always use http://www.track17.net for full tracking as it looks at both the shipper from China and the local service.

EDIT: using track17 I now see you are in Canada, according to Canada Post the item is not in their system, this could mean one of two things 1) item lost or still in transit 2) item seized by customs, FT won't do anything until at least a month has gone by from date of shipping from FT which should be any day now, it can then take up to another 2 months before they will refund for lost parcels.
JOOI I tried looking up the delivered item's code in Canada Post and that also showed nothing - so it looks as if Canada Post are not tracking items even when delivered, we get something similar over here, in that some items don't get tracked once they land - mainly by other carriers like China Post.

Not sure Terry, but you don't use the pre-built coils do you, they are the ones I'm finding not as good, and now that the VOCC ones are not reading properly (even the new round 0.15 for the Nebox is showing up as 0.25), I'm thinking of turning the Subbys over to Kanthal coils or even stop using them altogether once I have got rid of my stock of coils.

Think i'll do the same here Bob,finish what i've got and retire them.Thought of doing this before, but it's a handy robust tank to take out and about.

@Brynglas George you might want to read this - other people having problems with Steel wire : Temp Control and Stainless Steel - DNA 200 Early Adopters Forum

I'll take a good look at that later, thanks Bob.

So far I'm liking the Triton (6 unused) & Crown more than the Subbys (6 in use), so I can easily swap them over ;)

Hiya Trisha :) Hope they get you sorted out soon, miss a bit of banter with you :( And NO Marcus I AM NOT Flirting
 I'm hoping things get more normal before long too! I suppose impatience & frustration with it all doesn't help me.

Don't know about the higher resistance ones, they will probably be okay as they will be kanthal, it's the sub-ohm Ni ones that are causing problems,
I'll try some when they're readily available then.
sorry to hear about your ongoing problems, hopefully it will get sorted soon.
I'm thinking they must be mostly side effects - when I was on 40mg per day, they were even worse.
Hope your issues get sorted out soon too :)

Hi Trish,missed you last night.
Sorry to here you're still having a rough time.Hope things get better for you.
Thanks. On the bright side, it's a whole lot better than it was! I just want it gone completely (...wishful thinking hopes for good!), and then get on with keeping it at bay.

Mmm! Don't know what to make of that Bob.
Seems like one person struggling and others giving advice, yet they don't seem to say "works for me"
Some of what he has said has happened to me including the cotton catching fire, also noted he was trying to use 317L which was the same stuff I had problems with - worth signing up for the weekly email notification on that forum, you just get one email per week with just links to the various subjects, someone else asked about Ti v Ni wire and some of the comments made me laugh especially about not doing contact coils with Ni, I nearly always do contact coils with no problems.

Another confusing bit is that we are having problems with the wire yet I am having no problems with the pre-built Crown & Triton SS coils which are 316L.

Good to know Bob about the pre-builts,the SS Triton coils will fit in my Tobeco minis.
Have you had any success building with wire? How about the SX 350 J,does that cope?

I gave up on the 317L, no problems with Ni and some problems with Ti like I said earlier, haven't tried the NiFe30 yet, and none of the other steel ones. Think you downloaded the update for the SX Mini M Class for TCR so that you can enter the figures for the coefficient of SS which is 0.00094, I haven't actually tried it yet myself.

Thx for the info.

Ya I was trying to track with Canada Post also and no luck. I mean I don't expect extreme tracking or anything but it would just be nice that if it is delivered that it would show on the tracking that it was delivered.

Makes me paranoid because they have implemented a new system where all mail gets put into drop boxes, no more door to door. Reason I'm paranoid is because I have had 3 wrong addresses in my drop box of different peoples mail. Just don't want it to get delivered to the wrong place and someone just decides to keep it.

Anyhow I will wait a while longer it's no biggie I guess. It's nice to know that FT will eventually refund if it so happens I don't receive anything at all, so thanks for that reassurance.
