I was just having an idle vaping thought: Does Jeremy Corbyn eat fish? A Sunday night daydream, So I googled it. No sensible answers from the links supplied, but at the bottom of the page I read "Some results may have been removed under data protection law in Europe ". What is going on? I think we should be told.

I wish vape shops would sell mix pack of wicking material as I want to try different cottons but I don't want to buy big bags if don't like it.

I would like to try a piece of Klaud cotton, MUJI organic untreated cotton, Cotton bacon V2, UD Gangwon organic cotton and Koh Gen Do organic cotton just to see if there is any difference between them.

Don't think there is much difference between KGD and Muji, Terry will probably be able to tell you, I think he has tried both - I quite like Muji for cotton

Ah ok.
Some of them are quite expensive for what it is so I thought the dearer ones would be better quality.
I think most of us here use either Muji or Cellucotton (Rayon) or even normal unbleached cotton balls from Boots, with Muji you must cut it the right way going from short side to short side, so that you get the longer strips, that way if you divide it in to 2 pieces it peels away easily.

The ones I got free just said it was organic cotton and I cut them short side to side but I didn't peel anything off it

2 things, the outer thin layer is normally peeled away with Muji to leave you with the cotton inside, then depending on how thick the cotton is that you are left with, and the size (dia) of your coil you may have to divide (peel) it in half. It makes it easier to roll up so that it threads through the coil.

Have a look at this video:

Thank you for the tips and showing me that video.
Now I know why my cotton didn't look as fluffy lol.

When I trimmed down the sides I fluffed up the end bits and made sure I covered the holes so I must of done something right as It's working just fine.

When I wick my other RBA's I will make sure I do it the proper way. As there is nothing wrong with the one I done yesterday I thought it would be pointless re-doing it again.
I wasted a lot of cotton as I couldn't get the thickness right. On the videos it looks quite big, obviously they record it close up.

Now I roughly know how much to cut off I won't waste as much.

It's a problem with close up videos, even worse when your close up vision is starting to go like mine, trying to see how to fit the coils into those tiny holes

Before I got my Subox I watched quite a few videos and I saw the coil and I though It would be quite easy as the hole in the coil looked big.
When I bought my Subox I had a look at the RBA and I still thought the coil would be quite big and then I unscrewed the top and I got the biggest shock ever :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Yep, not much difference really between KGD and Muji, i`ve even nicked some of the wifes cotton balls before now, and they all perform pretty much the same !
