Watched Rip Trippers vid last night,he didn't think so,prefered the Crown
I'll have a look later
Bit run down in the Bay now Bob.Big drug problems.
Used to be a great place.James Mason was supposed to have a house there, years back.Which shows what it must have been like.
Don't know about him but Batchelors (peas) had a house in Penrhyn Bay, it was on my paper round and Roger Moore had a place not far from the West End but on 'tother side of the tracks to where my primary school was. It was quite upmarket back in the 60s, Penrhyn Bay & Old Colwyn were the poshest areas, followed by Colwyn Bay then Rhos-on-Sea (Llandrillo-yn-Rhos) where they built the estate where I grew up, but even parts of Rhos had a few rich people around and a good Cricket ground - even had some International matches played on it, and Uncle Albert (Corrie) was a regular there, I could see the ground from my parents bedroom, before they built bungalows opposite.

I received my pack of the new cotton bacon today. £6 for 10 pieces

Anyway, I'm keeping 5 pieces so I'll have 5 to spare.
Do any of you guys want me to send you a piece to try out?.

Looking at that piccy, it looks very similar to Cellucotton (Rayon) which is a lot cheaper on eBay and comes uncut so you can cut it to the length you need: Cellucotton | eBay
There are different numbers, the main thing is that it must be 100% Rayon fibers not Cotton fibers

On the back of the packet it says....... Cotton Bacon Version 2.0 has been specifically formulated for vaping. We start with select U.S grown cotton fiber; then take it through a proprietary purification process to remove impurities, natural oils and pesticides.
Cotton Bacon is created in a state of the art facility to provide vapers with an easy to use 100% tasteless cotton wick.
Simply pinch, tear wick 'N' vape.

and that why it is so expensive, most of us here use either CelluCotton or Muji - much cheaper and just as good

Looking at the airflow on the iSub S,you get two big cyclops for direct lung hits. Then three tiny holes, you can have the three holes open or just the one if you want, for MTL.

The small holes are the same size as the single holes on the Kanger Subby. They are only on one side of the tank not on both like the Kanger
Are all of these below the coil?? If the three little holes aren't below the coil they're to cool the king hits not for mouth to lung typically.

@ everyone

So. I placed another order from chefs I figured for whatever reason they were getting my emails and on the notes for the order I placed I repeated the fact that the description was wrong under lose brew and ask them to replace the ones I bought. I received an email back from them apologizing saying they hadn't received any of my emails over the last five weeks so I pointed them at the notes system and show them that they been going in there as well. So if any of you try to communicate with him they have had problems getting notifications from their system anyway they made it right they shipped really quickly to me they included some free samples of an apology and I have a bunch more concentrates tinted now.

So they handled it well ultimately.

Oh interesting. Thank you. Do you have calipers by chance To check the inner bore of the chimney next time you've got it open? That's a measurement I'd like to see tank makers start publishing.

@Bobw1951 same with the cleito coils. Assuming you have different ones is the chimney the same
Across the board?

I have to disagree.

So I have a pile of muni here and compared to Koh Gen Do I find the wick if to be awful. The Joh Gen Do wicks very well but the initial flavor takes a while to burn off. Both of those need to be wicked quite differently than rayon. With cotton bacon - the density is very different than either of the Japanese cottons I have. So it can be wicked like rayon - very very tight and it does not have he initial flavor that needs to burn off

I have no doubt they are repackaging something. Version one was dental cotton as I understand it. I'm sure version two is something else. As soon as I find out what that is I won't buy cotton bacon anymore. That said it's cheap enough for me, a pack lasts 2.5 months roughly, that I will continue to buy it as I genuinely see it as better.

So I wanted to see if it was in my head. Trying to justify it as better. I had my girlfriend administer a blind test and i was able to choose cotton bacon, rayon, and Koh gen do out of six wixks I tested. It wasn't an ABX test as I've used rayon, CB and KGD a lot. I used KGD only for he first year Vaping

I found muji, pharmaceutical sterile cotton balls (unraveled), and generic cotton from
Amazon Indistinguishable and poor.

For me right now cotton bacon v2 is the best wick. Given what I downs in hardware and juice I don't really mind spending $25 a year on cotton bacon instead of $12 a year on KGD. As for muji. I find it absolutely terrible.

Rayon is easily distinguishable because it carries a nutty flavor when lacked tightly and new.

It's possible that because I mouth to lung vape and use flavor tanks the cotton flavor is more impactful. And I don't suppose that it's the outright best. Just the best for me. And I do think that some people can have preferences based on how the material tastes and impacts the juice flavor.

If it was $10 a pack is probably skip it. But $6 every ten weeks is t breaking the bank. Again I'm sure here repackaging something. When I figure out what that something is I'll change to that. Be given how much disposable coils are it's hard to pick on $) every ten weeks for cotton to be used across 8 devices.

Cleito doesn't have a chimney as such, it is the coil head that goes right to the top, id=7.96mm

They do cotton bacon v2 at FT.Just over £4.
I'm happy with my Puff organic cotton. So probably won't buy any,but it's there to try.
I've often wondered if it is really made in the USA - something that came to
Mind after an order was crossed up and I received something in the cotton bacon packaging which was nothing like cotton bacon v2. As I said they're clearly repackaging something. Cutting to size etc. I've been looking for differ t dental
Cotton to see if that's it still.

It's more expensive in the fast tech site than Amazon here.
