definitely NOT
Of course it wasn't!

not so good news with the monitor, hope the son can sort it...
He probably can - typical that he has a rare three day course right when I need him!
If I only knew what I need to get to make it work, it would help. A cable/adapter I can deal with if it's the right one, a new card is something he would need to do.

I'm starting to get negative vibes about this monitor ..how can it possibly be good after all this!

I'm just waiting on the one item now,Says due in 4 days,
But i don't want to cancel as it's 10 SC Ni coils. They were approx 1/3 of the UK price.
Mine is something I can easily order again sometime as it's just for my horde! :)

I did earlier today, I had an order ready to ship except one small $2 odd item, just cancelled that one item, now waiting for the shipping email, 07:30 over there at the moment so a bit too early for them.
out of my other 2, one has only 2 items ready, the other none, both expected to ship 23/02
Good - if it won't screw the order up, I'll just cancel that item! :thumb:

Lets play another round of repurposed ecig.

What's this one - again positioned as a syringe and I'm quite sure it's an ecig

Looks sub ohm. Clear tip. Big black button and about six inches long

Thanks - I've bookmarked that and will take a closer look soon - got to be careful about fat intake to keep husbands cholesterol levels down.
This has shown amazing results Ina. Few of my friends. Jt is intrinsically low carb. There are a lot of free resources for recipes Etc.

If the mod has a power mode then you can use Kanthal or in Temp mode any wire that it supports, for SS see my answer to Terry above.
You've seen a mod hay won't work with ss in nickel or titanium mode? I mean it's notoo g to be accurate but what does it do?

Thank you for explaining it :)
Cheers Bob, it seems that SS will be best for me then, if any of my TC mods won`t recognise it then i can just use them in power mode :) I think i will get a spool just out of curiosity, probably end up with a couple of fingers missing though

Evic mini needs a software update and you can use anything. I posted the temp values for manual entry a while back but hernia a pretty complete list again after trying 394/316/317/430 I find 439 to be the best stainless. Which surprised me as it's the least expensive. The temp seemed much more accurate and very linear.

I use stainless in everything. Power. Temp. Across he board. However with 28 gauge I try to get ten wraps in if I'm using it in power mode. That won't matter for you if you vape direct king but if you vape as one smokes. Then I've found .7-.85 a little too low / burns too fast.

For temp control devices which support manual entry I really can't recommend this enough

NiFe48 0.32mm - AWG 28

Of course it I can get 26 or 39 gauge. I prefer 28 but your preferences may vary.

I finding clean. Extremely reliable. It's just. Well. Great.

See they have the Altus on there as well £69.99 which is about £40 cheaper than it was in the States

I picked up the glass Aromamizer rda for £9.99.I've always fancied one and at the price, worth a try.
Just doesn't appeal to me that Altus.Don't know why,but to me it doesn't feel right.

I didn't have any problems dry burning SS btw.

The recent science states that dietary cholesterol and blood cholesterol are not related. This is why you can now eat eggs ad lib.

By the way if you want to read the Volek and Phinney book for free and have a Kindle then, if you sign up for a free trial of Kindle Unlimited for a month, it's available. Just don't forget to cancel before the month is up unless you want to pay a monthly subscription. You could also do this using the Kindle app on your laptop if you don't have a Kindle.

Another great book to read that way is "The World Turned Upside Down:The Second Low Carbohydrate Revolution" by the Feinmans.

He has to get another cholesterol test in 12 weeks, so is being ultra careful as he had a bad time with meds for cholesterol, and wants to avoid any others if he can.
I know he won't eat any eggs for now, but I'll get him to ask the doctor about what is good or bad to eat - he'll likely take notice of her :)

I don't use Kindle ...prefer 'real' books, but I've put this Feinmans book in the wish list on Amazon.

I've been having a hard enough time lately keeping to low fat food, and also avoiding the things I can no longer eat - barely got that sorted out yet, so any changes will be very gradual, and not likely just yet.

Does anyone do a dripper on a big, roomy deck with just two posts with finger screws for the wire? Ideally one that doesn't leak all over the place?

I think any dripper with the Velocity style deck would suit you Pipe. They usually have a bigger deck and very easy to build on.What you after flavour or cloudz?:D

@Pictor Trish, saw you were looking at the 4port switched USB3 hub, that sounds ideal, then you could go back to looking at the first 3 pre-built external drives you originally showed, you might be able to get an extension lead to extend it, or see if they do one that has a longer lead.

Flavour really. If it simply works I'd be fine - I'm a tootle puffer! The main thing is that there should be plenty of space for fitting a single coil - my stubby little elderly gnarled fingers need as little to do as possible (hence finger screws). It should be a doddle to set up if possible, and it shouldn't leak in my top pocket. It's a lot to ask but then I'm weird that way. Oh, and the cheaper the better - I don't need it to survive a nuclear attack or be "artistically" etched. I'd probably be wicking it with ekowool which shows you the kind of uber-basic set-up I'm looking at. Just two posts! Three would just confuse me. :)

"Tilting the market so that tobacco firms favour e-cigarettes at the expense of their existing tobacco products would mean the interests of the firms are finally more in line with those of wider society."
I know they've been dabbling in e-cigs, but I'm surprised this hasn't been done already on a large scale by the BT's - too busy protecting what they thought was 100% safe ground instead of diversifying!

@Pictor Trish, saw you were looking at the 4port switched USB3 hub, that sounds ideal, then you could go back to looking at the first 3 pre-built external drives you originally showed, you might be able to get an extension lead to extend it, or see if they do one that has a longer lead.
Yes, I think that type of thing is a simple solution.
Was leaning towards the mains powered one, but eventually, I won't need mains power for an ext. drive will I!?
I could keep the LaCie drive plugged into the mains and then into the Sabrent hub, and whatever new ext. drive I get just plugged into the hub! Then I can switch them off when not in use without pulling cables out.

EDIT: Just looked again, and below the picture it shows Frequently bought together which includes a 1m extension lead :)
Nice! Didn't notice that earlier ...I'll see if there's one with a longer lead first!

I got mail!:

Rejuiced order - couldn't resist trying the Whipped Banana Cream one: has a nice fresh banana taste rather than a cloying overly ripe one. I think it'll steep nicely in the next week!

No doubt I'll try another before the day is out!
I got them all in 1.5mg
I'm trying them in a couple of basic Evods with 1.8 SOCC coils at 6.5-7 W.
