The new builds i did the other day, one for the Crius and one for the Bellus. 24 gauge wire, 8 wraps 2mm Dia=0.2 ohms, and cracking as in tons of flavour and vapour. I got the Crius on my IPV2, And the Bellus on my ipv d2. Just don`t understand how the vape is so good at such low watts.

24g Kanthal 2mm dual coil for 0.2ohms gives me these figures and at 15w would be a very cool vape as you can see from the Heat flux:

So I was very dubious to say the least the only thing I have which is similar build is my Doge RDA dual 0.26ohms so I tried that on my d2 and I get a warm vape, so upped it to 20w exactly the same, 25w the same, so methinks that the mods are probably not allowing you to vape at 15w but rather the minimum wattage allowed for the build even though it is showing 15w it is not stepping down as it should, suspect the ipv2 is the same

@terry w further to that I just looked at Phil Busardo vid on the IPV2 and although he doesn't do the chart for 0.2 he does show 0.5ohm @ 15w and what should be the output voltage is 2.7v what the ipv2 outputs is 3.6v he says that the sx330 (ipv2) is not able to step down unlike the sx350
(that's one area where PBs vids out rate the others even if he does waffle and most people don't look at his charts)

Thanks Bob, i was thinking the same thing re: the step down. I-sticks spring back to mind

It was remembering those that made me think of it, couldn't find a review of the d2 from him so couldn't check that but it is only an sx130h so it is probably the same problem.

Just ordered 100 ml of LDL in 12 mg 10 ml of superstar circles in 6 mg and tried to get some sherpa, guess what OOS !!

12mg LDL? thought that was too strong for you
Wonder if the Sherpa will come back in stock!
My order from 19th is now showing as shipped - just Nicotine, 3mg VG base and two concentrates: Capella Van. Custard and Orees Cookies.

I ordered two of the Vaping Outlaws ones yesterday: Moonshine & Four Horsemen. They're made by Avant Garde for UKEcig.
I also added a bottle of Twonk Jelly (strawberry jam, icing and doughnut)

I see too that South Coast has added three new ones to their site, and they're 70% VG (the Cookie Monster one is yet to be added in the higher VG).

After Nipplejuice and Calicustard,must say i'm disappointed with $5 Shake.And wouldn't buy it again.
Will try the God yog and then cookie monster when in stock.

Disappointing news re the $5 shake - I'll avoid it! Let's hope the other two are good then !

I put it on my Sig 100, and i had to go right up to 50 watts to get a decent vape...

Well the 10 ml bottle i am using now is 6mg, so i thought i would stay with that, but all my other juices are 12 mg, and now the coils have settled in nicely i should be ok with the 12
Dunno about anything regarding Chefs stock these days, seems everything is up in the bloody air.

I put it on my Sig 100, and i had to go right up to 50 watts to get a decent vape...

That's why I asked for more details, so as to see what was happening, the more info the easier it is to work things out.

...as for Chefs, a bit of a mystery - I keep wondering if something I like will disappear! Not even sure how flexible things will be if they do still sell ready made after the cut-off - may be in my interests to get my nicotine use as low as possible and just make my own.

I'm wondering if reformulating some and getting another test done is taking a long time perhaps.

I re-wicked my Crown RBA earlier, i read a good way to stop any leaks after filling and it works. AF closed and bottom fill, not a drop lost

Indeed ...it may be steeping or whatever concentrate does.

I got a small bottle of Orees Cookies concentrate today, and I'll mix it (20%) with zero ...I'll see how it is on it's own, but think it may be useful to add to some Nicoticket Got Cookie (a nice 50/50 PG/VG chocolate one they're discontinuing).

I don't much care for making my own, but not keen on the prospect of 10ml bottles!

Think i can see the cause of the SC glass rda chopping the coil legs.
The posts are hollow,can't say i've ever noticed it on an rda before,is that normal?

That's the one with 3 small round posts, if so, yes, have seen hollow ones like that, if they are normal headed screws can you not trap the wires under them rather than use the post holes - wonder if that's why they were cheeeep

Don't think trying to trap under the screws will make much difference.As the same problem will arise.
Only tried with 26g upto now.
What do you reckon to 24g,will it make much difference?(if so i'll have to get hold of some)

I think my IPV 2 really has cocked up somewhere !!! Put a fresh battery in it earlier on, had a quick blast of LDL in the Crius, and blinking heck, talk about hot. I dropped the watts to minimum 7 watts, and it`s still barely vape-able. So i put the tank on my Zero, and it`s not bad at all at 22 watts.
Sommat`s not right with that IPV !!!

George, i can send you some 24 AWG if you want it, don`t think i will bother with it again and stick with 26/28. In fact if you have got any 26 spare, i`ll swap you some as i haven`t got any left.

Don't think trying to trap under the screws will make much difference.As the same problem will arise.
Only tried with 26g upto now.
What do you reckon to 24g,will it make much difference?(if so i'll have to get hold of some)

You could give it a try, see if it will trap the wire without screwing it right down
