I have a Ni one in an Apex on the Cloupor GT, set at 430F/Auto, firing it shows it starts at about 50w, it needs about 5-7 second draw to get a decent vapour though, flavour is fine
I also have a 0.5 kanthal in another Apex on the Sig 100+ set at 30w also good

I'm wondering if i've gone too high in the VG.
Filled with a 80vg,and they only have two small wicking holes.

Glad your enjoying it.Found between 35w - 45w seem to be the sweet spot. The coils last ages as well
I'm using a 6mg 50/50 juice so think 35w is enough for now, although I did just try 40w and it wasn't that bad, might try higher when I finally change the coil, as the other one is a 0.2, so will probably use a 3mg high VG juice as well.

My Ni one has SB-The O.B in it 30/70, the kathal one has Vaping Rabbit-The Milkman in it 01/99 so don't think that would be a problem, you would get a burnt taste if it wasn't wicking well.

Chefs, Loop Dee Loop 100ml - Superstar Circles 28 ml.
Does anyone know what the pre-made coils are made of out for the Crius ? The reason i ask is that i have no 26 awg wire, and i tried making some 2mm 28 gauge ones earlier, with no bloody success at all ( Bleedin Coil master ) what a POS  Every coil i made was all bunched up !

So as i have got some pre-mades lying about, i though i would try them out. Need to up my ohms a bit :)
Bump

either Kanthal or Nichrome probably the latter but not sure, as for the CM don't hold the little bit so tightly, just do one turn at a time and use the forefinger of the hand that is holding the bigger bit to rest on the smaller bit at each turn to stop it spinning back, another tip is to always make at least one coil extra, so that when you take the end out of the hole, you can then unwind the extra coil(s) from that end.

@terry w another thing, the screw in the small bit, make sure it is in the hole that is closest to the middle hole, unless you are using thick wire >.40mm/26AWG, when it needs to be in the outer hole
I`ll just go and have a quick look Bob, not 100% sure what you mean though.

Could be worse, could be the other side of town:evil:

I'd have thought with the cycle venue etc around there it should have loads of parking.Dunno.
Asda is on the other side of the A6010 according to google maps, so should be plenty of space there, and from Trip Advisor
There is loads of free street parking near to the stadium, maybe 10 mins walk, look at google map and look in the direction of Ashton new road towards Droylsden similar Ashton old road towards Ashton ,guess a 10 minute walk and there will be free street parking,it's not unusual to park on these streets ,City fans do it every home game.

Not really sure George, but it`s right off a main road, so if you can`t get in the car park at the venue i think you could struggle. As Bob said, maybe try to find somewhere to park before you set off :).

Bob i`ve got the small bit of the coiler in my hand now, and all 4 screw holes look identical to me !!

4 - I haven't got my v3 yet, still waiting for it to leave Sweden, but on the first version there was only 2 holes, one was further away from the centre hole than the other, you want the screw in the one that is closest to the centre

Yes 2 in either end Bob, so 2 in the 2mm end and 2 in the 1.5 mm end. I think i will just have to keep practicing with this thing. At least i can use my 24 Awg, which i won`t be using again :)
