That's one of the reasons. Others being, her attitude and stance not police service, and her opinions of sharia law in Britain.
I hadn't known about any opinion on sharia law - but I did know about the police service feelings, because those issues are close to home for us (one of our sons).

Yes. It's "Fasttech Veterans". Mostly Brits and we talk about everything! If you hunt them down there are lots of posts about Fasttech.

I don't really want to have to 'hunt down' on-topic posts, & I don't care for all the politic babbling neither. I think I'm just gonna head on out of here instead.

Enjoy though

There are many aspects regarding FT - You only had to ask for that which you wanted to know ...everyone here is extremely helpful in all matters re FastTech.
We all buy from them frequently.

Understandably, politics is an important matter in the UK right now! ;)

I don't have a question right now, I just like to keep up on my reading to see if there's anything new I need to know about, that's all :)

And I understand. I'm just across the pond from you guys and we've been keeping up with all the latest developments in the UK. That's why I felt there might be better places to have this discussion than in this thread, or maybe even this entire forum. It is a vape-forum after all

Sharia law is complex. My understanding of May's position is that she is disturbed by the way in which it is being used as a excuse for the abuse of women, but sees some positive values in part of its system:

Theresa May hails ‘benefits’ of Sharia as inquiry set up into ‘misuse’ of Islamic law
Ah! Now I see - I hadn't seen that at the time.

On another matter - I see this (I thought he'd said that!) Looks to be the reason that after the result was known, he said he wasn't going to deal with any of it - perhaps hoping for a way to wriggle out of the promise:
During the campaign, Prime Minister David Cameron said he would go to Brussels immediately after the referendum to trigger Article 50, although he has since decided to resign.

If he had gone straight away, it would have had to have been with the use of prerogative power, a collection of executive powers held by the Crown since medieval times and now placed in the hands of ministers.

I was sure he'd said that at PMQ's before the vote, but this is the first time I've actually seen it said:
Reality Check: Can UK trigger Article 50 without asking Parliament? - BBC News

I know, but we're a bunch of vaping friends, and we do discuss a lot of things, partly because we're so used to each other. We talk about all aspects of e-cigs and also the world around us.

I for one have no desire to enter into political chats with people I don't know - they can get rather unpleasant.

We're a happy bunch :) Anytime you have anything to say about FT or want to ask about anything, do join in.

Ah, it's one of those threads.

Gotcha, I don't know any of you that well but I have other threads where I do a similar thing with other members -probably to the annoyance of some.

I am sorry to have interfered then, now don't mind me and carry on please

If you're heading on over to FT you might want to take a look at the authentic istick Pico. Very small and handy - and very inexpensive!

Well i polished of the last of my Superstar Circles last night. So today i cleaned & dry burned the subby, and filled with Rejuiced Busta Lime ( Key Lime Pie ) and although i only had a couple of Toot`s, it is gorgeous & much much better than their Apple pie.

I`ll have a proper blast on it tonight, but from the quick taste test it`s 10/10 :thumb:

That sounds rather nice! You've reminded me that I have a lime one that I haven't tried yet, but it's NomNomz Lime Bake. ...in fact, I also have a Stash 10ml sample of a lime one too! Must try them soon :)

I've got stacks of samples and old home-made stuff that I must get through at some point - if only to reclaim the bottles! They all colour with age and/or sunlight (although I have had some coloured ones that bleach clear under a Mediterranean sky - go figure!). I've also got stacks of old nic base to use up. Ah well - I blame it on Liqua. Their stuff is so tasty to me that I keep running back to it. :)

Why on earth did I say "go figure" - it must be the stress of all the politics. Mr Farage isn't the only one who needs time away from it. But how do you keep an addict away from his drug? I keep going back for more. And yes - being a politics addict does make me feel dirty and inadequate (but rarely). :)

I must admit, I've got far more of the same kind of stuff than I care to even think too deeply about
I have no doubt that once we're confronted by 10ml bottles, I'll be more likely to make much more myself than I do now!
I have been trying the odd one of those ready made ones that have been lurking on my desk for months, and in most cases, have been disappointed. Eventually, I'll get those whittled down to a very few ...bit like a ministerial election

'Go figure'? ...well, as one that has had a number of US friends for a considerable number of years, it doesn't surprise me when I hear an Americanism. 'Whatever' in true Valley style is a favourite comment that I make  - quite unlike when I hear an American say a sentence that is purely British: 'Go to the back of the queue'! A case of someone putting words into others mouths!

I've taken more notice of politics in recent years, but in the past few months, can hardly take my eyes off news - it's been incredible to see the subterfuge and deceit unfolding, with no doubt, more to come.
To say it's all very unsettling is a gross understatement.

No trouble. :)
:)
I briefly caught something a commentator who was reporting regarding tonight's pitches for leadership, and he said something like Andrea Leadsom had backtracked somewhat on what she'd earlier said re triggering Article 50 - do you know what that was?

Edit - I now know what it was:
I've finally heard on the news, the reply to the question about when she'd trigger Article 50, and it was asked of her by Sky News political editor, Faisal Islam at the Monday leadership pitch, and she basically replied that she would make no firm plans at the moment.

This is after stating twice Sunday that it would happen either right away when she took office - or in September or very soon after.
The former was with Andrew Marr, the latter something I caught on a news report.
