That is a problem with the regulated mods, the board can fail, having a slight problem with one of mine at the moment, display has gone back to front, still working okay though, I've still got my mechs to act as back-ups.

Dave, only once had to come up your way, when the railway had it's staff saving bank at Stooperdale, and of course that's where our Pension dept. is as well.

Snow seems to be North of the border or east of the pennines (Sheffield & Derbyshire mainly) Frosty came here last night, the grass outside is still has hoar frost on it.

Still no presents from the postie either - getting annoyed now with the WDC @ LHR.

Whoops, sounds like they scanned it and didn't like what they saw, you might be lucky and they might just open it, see what it is and seal it back up, or you may get hit with an import duty if they deem it is worth more than what FT say it was, sounds like a waiting game.

Just recoiled the orchid @0.8 oHm and screwed it onto the Dovpo

the mod chose the 19.9 watt setting for me, took a toke and what a difference

the taste was just like the smell of the juice, something I've never experienced before

and the amount of vapour was incredible, warm but not harsh or bitter, so no more

need for 10 second lung hits with this set up, problem now is I feel like I do after

about 3 shots so I've set it aside for a bit. If it carries on without fault I'll be chuffed

Thanks for the heads up Bob

Waiting game indeed :( i really dont like this. Im hoping they will seal it back up and let it slide. The last time I got a hefty import duty was some pet equipment i brought into malaysia. Booo for malaysian customs

Hi everyone hope you've had a pleasant Christmas. Went home for about a week so only popped in to say hello once over that time.

Don't go back to work for a while yet so had time to just read all 40 bloomin pages of this to catch up. Was amused to see the fuss we've kicked up about having the thread title the way it is and in the UK forum. I told you we should rename it "isn't royal mail swell?" or something. Anyway I've been given several bottles of whisky over christmas so I've popped the cheaper ones in the bar in here (can't let you guys drink all my single malt can I?) :toast:

Christmas was good apart from a slight run in with one of the in-laws over vaping vs smoking!

As they smoke in the kitchen I presumed it was fine to vape there too but apparently the horrid smell was off putting. I had blue moo in my kayfun and can any of you who have that juice see why the vapour might smell bad? Haha it was all ok in the end but it was really bizarre, I don't mind the smell of rollies sometimes as I previously smoked them but one person in that kitchen smokes straights and they smell awful. Can't remember the brand one of those in silver packaging which come in king size as well. bluergh.

You can shut your pie hole as well

I re-coiled two of my new Lemo`s today, 10 wraps 28 ga 2.5 mm for 1.8 ohms. Wicked them with ... cotton ! Filled the first one with chefs doughnut, On to a stick set at 12 watts, bloody lovely with no wicking issues at all :) Next up, i filled the second with chefs fluffy nuts, and again georgeous, these juices seem to be a lot more flavourful in these Lemo`s opposed to the kayfuns ( Anyone else find that ? ) Or is it just me ? If i am correct, i would put it down to the extra airflow, Fantastico :)

I love my lemo terry, I never fully got on with the flavour from my kayfun unless it's in nano mode so can only hold 1 or 2ml of juice, so the lemo is great. I reckon it is all down to the diameter of the chimney, I'm hoping soon someone will make a tank where the chimney doesn't taper and has a wide bore drip tip at the top. It would have to be a biggish device to get decent capacity without the chimney tapering but on a box mod something a little larger than a normal 22mm device would be ok. The lemo is 23mm and looks fine. I reckon 24 or 25mm. I'll e-mail china and let them know I've cracked it!

Even just checked for you guys, and it works.
Be quick only 'til midnight.

Dang. Serves me right for abandoning this over Christmas!

A big hello to all my fellow uk vapers it's coming up to three months for me the longest I've ever gone.

Hi Marcus congrats on that and welcome to the premier UK vaping thread. What kind of set up are you using?

I love my lemo terry

They are very good aren`t they adam :) I coiled another of mine today, 3mm dia and i think it was 9 wraps of 28 ga. Came out at 1.9 ohms ! A bit too high, but i am experimenting with them ATM, and after reading some posts on a thread in the US, i saw a lot of people were going for either 3 or 3.5 mm, and stuffing plenty of wick in. :D So thats what i did, and used ... cotton, stuck the tails to the terminal block primed filled with blue moo , and up to now adam, it is probably the best build i have done on my Lemo`s.

So it seems that with the kayfuns liking `Less is more` RE: wicks, the Lemo`s really do like a LOT of wick. :) It really is performing brilliantly !!

I see you don't speak Welsh:laugh:It's Glas as in green not the type you look thru'.
Only kidding mate.

I'd stick a mini nautilus on your mvp, they are a decent little tank and give nice flavour, wouldn't go for the full size one don't think they perform aswell.
You'll be buiding your own just now,so don't spend a packet.

I'm still quite new to the vaping world.Im using a mvp 2.0 with an aspire ets clearo.im very happy with the mvp, the ets is ok any suggestions on a better clearo around the £20 area

I agree with brynglas a nautilus mini would be ideal. Or if you want a bigger tank a normal nautilus, just make sure they have the BVC coils as brynglas also stated. Those coils work in either mini or normal nautilus and I think you can buy the original nautilus with BVC coils now as they've quickly been recognised as better than the original BDC coils

They certainly have potential George, That is why i am just experimenting with them ATM IE: Different coil sizes, wicks etc. The way i wicked it today, was to have the coil across the air hole diagonally, then after threading the wick and priming, because the tails are not in line with the channels folding them back. Certainly wicks very well using this method, but i think i will build at a lower res when i have finished this tank :)
