Nope, in the dark as much as you are, will have to wait and see.
I'll try the Hansel's Folly soon!Don't do alot of ginger Trish.Maybe why i find it strong.
Still got three other Kraken to try....Candy cane,Cockney herberts and Dodging strawberry.
Think i will hang fire for some reviews, they have the tobeco ones on ebay for around £ 23.00
I was amazed he bought 3, I know I've got 2 on their way, but they are different makes, and depending on whether they are any good or not will depend on if I get any more.
I like the ceramic tweezers, especially for squeezing up coils, as you can do it whilst still applying power.
Just did a re-build on one of my Lemos and getting weird ohms - using S-E I calculated 6/5 wraps 29g Ni200 for 0.1 ohm for my DNA40 so used the coil master and made it, put it in the Lemo using the screws rather than the post holes, then on the Mod, and it comes out at 0.33 ...!!!! and getting dry hits which is not supposed to happen - looks like I'll have to take it apart and start again - aaarrrggghhh
emptied the tank, ripped out the coil and cotton, tried a 3.5 diameter coil using the 0.35mm Ni200 8/9 wraps and it is coming out at 0.25 ohm, which is double what S-E says it should be, after tightening the coils up using the post holes this time, put some rayon in instead, the tank gets hotter than the KFL as well with the same settings [410°F/20w], but at least it's working and no dry hits, so once this tank is empty, will go back to using the KFL on it, and keep the Lemos on my Kanthal built Mods.
Those resistances don't sound right (as your calculator confirms) to me having used the same gauge ni200 wire myself. I've been trying to build on the hobo with the 27ga 0.35mm and with a 2.4mm coil I need 13-16 wraps to get above that magic 0.1ohm figure.
I have a 3mm coil using 28ga 0.32mm ni200 on my lemo and if I recall that was about 12 or 13 wraps and comes out around 0.2 ohms.
But it reads it slightly differently every time so I think these builds are just very sensitive to temperature and maybe other things. Sometimes my dna40 gets confused, reads it at 0.3 or higher (because it's warm from charging maybe?) and thinks it's a standard kanthal build so displays the voltage applied rather than the temp limiting.
I find the connection has to be super tight and you need to leave it sit for a while after it's built before taking the base measurement. I find my hobo or veritas are more consistent with their readings, especially the veritas, so I've concluded that the tight connection is a must, as the hobo uses tiny grub screws and the veritas uses a normal screw and a nut to secure the wire. Maybe the lemos screws just aren't as tight.
It was driving me mad yesterday, although I didn't quite get the magic 0.1ohm on the KFL v2 it wasn't far off @ 0.092ohms and I had put through a good 4 tankfuls of CV MCV, but thought would try the Lemo as it has an airier draw.
After reading this message it had been standing all night so took it off the Mod cleaned off any condensation and put it back on and it is now reading it as Kanthal - no TC - ARGH - after fiddling with the 510 screw - unscrewing it out didn't fix it - but then screwing it back in all the way finally did, although it is still reading 0.25, as I said once this tank has been emptied, will go back to using the KFL v2
Yeah with the lemo it's a bit of a pain but if I haven't used it long enough for it to go to sleep then I've gotten in the habit of unlocking it then firing it for 1/2 a second or whatever just by tapping the button, then seeing what it reads it as, and if it isn't doing it right I unscrew the lemo a few turns to disconnect it, fire the device so it says check atomizer, then screw it back down and try again.
Usually then it asks if it's a new coil and I say yes and it works ok. If you manage to do this without firing it much then the resistance shouldn't be too much higher than it should be ideally as you haven't gotten it very warm.
It's just a pain if you vape it and warm the coil up only to discover it's not reading correctly, as then if you reset it and read it as new it would read high as its warmed up.
I love temperature control but it's a bit fiddly with the lemo at work or out and about so I think I'll stick to regular kanthal once I get a cloupor mini or similar for taking to work. Problem is FT don't seem to be getting lots of stock in for the cloupor mini so I doubt it would ship before they go on holiday even if I ordered it now, and it's so much cheaper at FT, about £22 whereas UK shops seem to be more like £40.
but noticed they are 0.3 and the kanger ones are 0.18, but would be nice to try my Nautilus Mini on the VSI know I paid about £40 for my first one, got one on order from FT but not due to ship until 9th Feb, was looking and ordered some of those Aspire Nautilus TC coils, found them on p-vaper for only £11.50+p&p - UKEC still flogging them for £20but noticed they are 0.3 and the kanger ones are 0.18, but would be nice to try my Nautilus Mini on the VS

Saw in PBusardo's latest vid which was a review of the new subtank mini and nano (along with the coil master and kuro koilers) that they're making kanger OCC heads with Ni200 wire now.
By the way the subtank mini looks excellent, they've fixed everything slightly wrong with the original subtank (insulators, o-rings, airflow with the RBA section) and it's 22mm and still holds ~4ml of juice. Might get one to compare to the lemo, sure looks like it'll have enough airflow. Having gotten used to the lemo it's nearly impossible to go back to a kayfun draw now![]()

Mine did get despatched fairly soon even with the 'due in 20 days' still showing. I think they must be getting small quantities in at a time and just fulfilling the next orders in line.Got fed up of seeing if FT would get the cloupor minis in stock so ordered one off the site named after the green elephant or the guy with 40 thieves. Only $2 more and the registered china post should be pretty quick.
Also ordered a subtank mini from myepack and a few more concentrates from chefs vapour. That's enough for today I think![]()

Still, with your Ali-aba one, you at least know it'll be sent soon!
I ordered from Chefs today too: 100ml Mint Choc Vapetto, and a bottle of FA Lemon Sicily flavouring so that I can boost the flavour of a couple I have that aren't as well flavoured as Chefs lemon ones!
I was waiting for Cloud House to get their Indigo order in because I want some OMG Peach, but it may not arrive until next week, so I gave in and ordered a few of the Coval ones last night.
I saw at Reddit that there's a code of 'januarycloud' that can be used for 13% off all liquids and concentrates!

Nothing much to report here. No vapemail or ordering for me today
I did have a weird occurrence earlier on though. Decided to clean, dry burn and rewick a few toppers.
Did the Odin first, it's back on the Reo LP now working great. Then one of the Kayfuns. Next up one of the Lemos - I've run about 80ml through it, so I thought I'd better give it the once over, even though it didn't need it.
Finally the RM2 that sits on the Reo Grand. Took it all apart, looked at the coil, it was almost twice the diameter it should be cos of all the gunking. Didn't hold out much hope with this one, but with it being a parallel build and a bit fiddly cos of the limited deck area, I thought I'd try the dry burn anyway. Starting pulsing it, good job I was doing it under the extractor fan, plumes of smelly muck came off it. Lightly passed the handle of a teaspoon over the gunk and most of it fell away into the sink. Pulsed it again and something strange happened. A tiny flame started at one coil leg and slowly worked it's way around the full length of the coil to the other leg. I've heard stories of this happening, but I've never actually seen it myself. The coil looked brand new afterwards. Checked the resistance, just to be on the safe side - still 1 ohm, I'm vaping on it now. Quite strange to actually see it happen though![]()

My mini FF does that nine times out of 10 Ian, catches fire when i dry burn it. It`s the one i have my coffee and cream in, wonder if the thick juice has sommat to do with it ?
I rebuilt one of my Lemo`s earlier, 28 ga, 6 wraps at 3mm, and 1.4 ohms. i wicked this one with ... cotton, and just cut a slit in the wick tails and divided them either side of the juice channels. Filled up with Blue Moo, fill screw in, blew through the bottom to equalize the pressure, flipped it up, on to a stick @ 14.5 watts, and it is performing bloody greatNo dry hits, no nothing except plenty of flavour and clouds ! I can only assume that the problems i had been having with them is NOT equalizing the pressure after a re-fill.
Anyhoodle, i hope that is the end of it now, and i will build my other four the same way.![]()

Does sound like a pressure problem mate. I normally close up the airflow totally when I fill my Lemos, then open up the airflow once it's full. Seems to do the trick.
