Still flying round in circles mate, it`s been up in the air since the 16th

Mine is still lost - showing landed 20/12 then nothing since - problem is it can take up to 60 days before it is finally deemed as lost by HKP and they notify FT, so until that happens I can't get a refund/replacement

Just a heads up for anyone thinking of buying the replacement pmma tank fot their orchid V4 - dont bother
The extra thickness of material leaves very little space between the chimney and the tank wall which in turn starves the "reservoir" that feeds the juice channels, leading to dry hits, fits of temper and sulking

In other news a guy on the APV forum says he has seen reviews from an owner of an istick 30 watt who says that the mod uses RMS rather than mean power delivery any interested parties should look at "mvp owners group into the next generation " page 358 post #3572

Well they always say things happen in threes
1. last week the computer monitor
2. last night the heating
3. this morning the SOs Television wouldn't come on properly, sound no vision, have had this happen before but always managed to get it working by unplugging it for 30' but this time no joy - looked up on web to find it is a circuit board problem with Toshibas and will be more to fix than the TV cost, so Missus without TV until tomorrow when Amazon will deliver a new Samsung, the same model as I have in my room.

It may still show Bob,hope for you it does.
Got a mail this morning, that enamel sign finally arrived at it destination in the States.I think they were both going on about the same time,so you never know.

Got up this morning to the heating working fine and the pressure in the system the same as i filled it yesterday.
That ones a puzzle but i think i'll still get it checked over.

Hopefully after they have deemed it lost and have either replaced/refunded me

EDIT: The pump on mine is still hot - yet it hasn't worked since about 18:00 last night, 'twas about 20:00 when I noticed it was cold downstairs (my room, spare bedroom, has the immersion heater in it so is always warmer than anywhere else in the house). Glad yours is okay, still waiting for the engineer.

IPV mini @ FT....£30

The black one doesn't look the same colour as on other sites and reviews, maybe they realised it wasn't really black and changed it?

Good price as it's £45 here most places I think. I'd be tempted more if I hadn't already ordered a cloupor mini from another site.

Cloupor better I think, don't like the screw battery cap, doesn't show whether it is sprung or not, the ZNA50 has a spring which are not ideal for high wattages

I suppose getting the three things out of the way is no bad thing! ;)
Still a lot of extras to buy in a short time though.

Hope the heating people turn up soon!

That's interesting! It led to this post too:

Seems like they did change it Adam.
Cloupor mini is a nicer looking mod, think you choose the right one.

I prefer the size of the cloupor as well. The ipv mini does look comfortable to hold but I quite like my box mods "boxy" anyway, using the rDNA 40 I have never thought "dang I wish this was more ergonomic".

I watched the PBusardo review of the ipv mini earlier and the screw cap is not sprung so that shouldn't be an issue Bob. I think the main advantages of the ipv mini over the cloupor are the ipv has a spring loaded pin and 22mm atties would fit without overhang, so I'm sacrificing that for having a smaller device with the cloupor.

I could have been tempted seeing they have the two colours that never materialised at MyEPack! ..just not sure about the height of it.

Right now, I'm more interested in whether the iStick 30W is actually RMS?

Reading between the lines it sounds like it is a form of RMS but is still over powered by about 1/2v, means it is better than the 20w one

Yes, that's what I thought I was understanding, but preferred you to tell me your thoughts first! - I read this post too (you may have seen it) http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ion/601111-eleaf-istick-943.html#post15038388

So, if I used that one at 5W, I'd be getting that more or less rather than something like 2W more. Sounds rather good :)

I've got the GS16 and a few coils left today from Ireland - if I remember correctly, it only took a few days.

...and, my Chefs order arrived already - just a few minutes ago! :)

Not necessarily 5w is supposed to be it's lowest level but there is still the problem of step down which could still cause problems at low wattages, but as it has a greater resistance range 0.4 - 5.0 it should be better, I would like to see a chart similar to the one posted for the original iStick to show the regulated wattages for each resistance
