Happy Vaperversary for yesterday, only just noticed, sorry
Well, it's today I suppose ...around 7am - but thanks Bob - you get the prize for noticing

I've so looked forward to this day ...watched that banner day in, month out, and always wondered if I'd get past the problems and arrive at a year ...and of course, I have :)

Even tho' KF advise to stay above 1 ohm, some people have to push it.
My flask shows in transit today Terry, judging by Bob's we may have them back end of next week:thumb:

If i am honest George, i find my sweet spot can be anywhere between 1 - 1.6 ohms. I very rarely go under 1 though. Yes mine is still showing in transit as well mate, i will have to order some more batteries, and wire so i am prepared. :)

There is a sub-ohm kit for the KF4 for Kanthal builds, but with Ni200 you have to build low, as close to 0.1 as possible to take advantage of the TC my KF v2 build that I had on previously was 0.092 and the Lemo is now showing 0.19 but the TC takes care not to let the coil overheat, it's why you have to be careful not to put a Ni200 built atty on a non-DNA40 mod as you could end up with a bomb.

Piece of advice to both you and terry, although you have probably seen it on AAEC, is build the atty on the Flask, with TC tuned off (up past 600°F) whilst building you can use the mod @ say 10w to heat the coils if you want to squeeze them up, but once built take the atty off and leave it to one side to cool down to room temperature, in the meantime turn TC back on to about 410°F and up the wattage to 40w, once atty has cooled down you can then put it back on the mod and it may ask you if it is a new or same, just press either +/-, best to select +, I think for new, and it will then re-read the resistance correctly, you can then reduce the wattage to whatever you feel happy with.

Realised that after I posted , also noticed that you joined here 4.5 years before actually giving up, I'm exactly 31 days behind you on giving up.

Got my batts yesterday, just need wire.

How's that Sig mate?

Brilliant George, i love it. Not too sure about the silicone sleeve though and will probably take it off. I didn`t put it down for about 3 hours yesterday, and i`m due for another session soon. I really like the big fire button on it as well, and no delay in firing, unlike the Hana !

VTC4s or 25Rs are the ones you need, get them from Ecolux like George does, and you will need to coil sub-sub-ohm for Ni200

Wish they would find mine :( as for the delay in firing, I've got into the habit with all mods now of hitting the fire button as I pick them up, that way by the time it gets to my mouth it's ready to go

Thanks for that bob. When you say turn TC off ,up past 600 Degrees, does that turn the TC off ? There will be many questions like that one bob

Yes i have seen the batts from ecolux on e-bay bob, so i will get them from there. I know nickle wire is a totally different beast compared to Kanthal, Twill be a new curve for me and george to learn for sure, but i do like a challenge :)

Not sure if VF same as VS, but should automatically be on once batteries inserted, if not 5 clicks to switch on, 5 clicks to lock it, then whilst locked you press & hold + & - buttons together to enter TC when the actual figure shows 450 or whatever you press the + button and go past 600 to OFF (pressing - will take you down to 200 and then possibly change to °C, my VS is °F only), you can only enter TC/change Temp with the device locked, unlocked the +/- buttons change the wattage. 5 clicks of course to unlock it. Hope that makes sense.

Yes i know what you mean bob, but the Hana goes into sleep mode very quickly, so i have to press to wake the bugger up then press again to fire it  No need to do that with the siggy, sleeping or not it fires instantly :)

Hope you get yours soon as well Mate, it will probably turn up when you are least expecting it :) Hopefully after you have been refunded
