I do agree that considering the world-wide sales potential for some of these large electronics companies, at least one native English speaker would be essential for press releases, instruction booklets, etc.

Even better - they should use the services of an English-speaking copywriter. The fact that someone is an English speaker does not always mean that they can communicate clearly and effectively in writing, sadly.

Yes, I wasn't clear perhaps - when I said 'native English speaker', I meant from a country where English is the native language: UK, USA, AU, NZ etc. :)

There's only one reason why anyone should moan about someones good fortune.
Good on the guy.Hope he has a hoot.

There's a fair bit of jealousy to be honest. One guy at work summed it up perfectly though "I don't care what he spends the dosh on. He bought the ticket, he won the money, if his liver explodes in a year, then he's had a bloody good time. Stop moaning about it and go drive your .......**g bus. I'm happy for him"
There were a few more expletives thrown in, as usually happens in the work's canteen

I'm saying one! ...for now
Seriously though, I have a whole set of unused genuine 20W ones to hand, and the ones I'm using have never given me any trouble, so a 30W and a 50W will be enough for me for quite some time I reckon

So that's an extra 2 then - 30 and 50 watt :p:laugh:

Actually, I may buy a ticket for our younger son ....he could definitely do with a windfall!

Well I hope he wins too :) I think I'll be buying a ticket a little bit more often. You always think, well nobody I know has ever won big and then it happens

Probably both of those won't help, but to be honest a lot of rebuildable tanks are not really suited to being out and about, I've found it better to use cheaper clearo types for going out aka the Mini Nautilus on the iStick a better combo, especially for keeping in pockets etc.

They were going great for a few weeks too, no leaks at all. I never, ever had any leaks from the Vmods like that. It could be due to the colder weather too, going from a freezing cold bus, to a warm canteen and back out into the cold again. From now on, I'll keep them in my work bag. Doesn't matter too much if they leak in there - my bag will smell lovely though

Not yet mate. I've been doing a bit of googling and it seems there's a v3 out now with 50 watts. I might just wait for that one to appear rather than just be on pre-order.

But.............. I have just ordered a DOVPO from Ali express for $32

Also............ I've found out that my little Goblin has a bigger tank option available - but everywhere is out of stock

Can't say I've ever been jealous of such good fortune - but frustrated if we were at rock bottom and spent the last £2 on a ticket in desperation, or if someone already very well off won a large sum (unless they were charitable with it).
There were no lottery tickets when we had hard times - just the football pools or horse racing, and we didn't do either.
What I don't like are those that win huge sums and subsequently ruin their lives with it.

So that's an extra 2 then - 30 and 50 watt :p:laugh:
Er, well ...one is already in the country - so theoretically ...aw hush!

Well I hope he wins too :) I think I'll be buying a ticket a little bit more often. You always think, well nobody I know has ever won big and then it happens
I'd love to see them win a worthwhile sum. I know it seems impossible/improbable ..but someone wins something every week!

Looks like FT are willing to let me return the dead Earl and refund the postage - said they'll give me an RMA number. I do still have the box and the packet it arrived in.
Seems a lot of bother for $22, but if I send it back they may give me a certificate rather than a replacement and I can use it against an iStick 50! ;)

Hasn`t Bob and vinnie got a dovpo Ian ? i`m sure they have ! I looked at them a while back, but i think it was the fixed battery what put me off it. Good price that though...How much are FT charging ?

Well my cloupor mini arrived today. Tried the 15s 30w test and nothing untoward. Tried it a couple times in a row.

Not sure what to do now.

Also not very impressed with the soldering on the negative battery terminal.

There's a tiny splash of solder under the end of that exposed wire and a gentle prod doesn't shift it. What do you guys think?

IMO Adam, if you have tried the`TEST` and it isn`t giving you any problems, Vape away :) Can`t really see the exposed wire, or bit of solder in the picture mate. Though i`m not saying it isn`t there. Go for it ! :)

I've never been jealous either of others good fortune. I remember my Mum and Dad doing the pools years ago, they did it for about 10 years and never won a bean  With all the talk at work, I sat down and worked out, I'd actually need at least 8 million - not that I'm being greedy or anything

Yeah you're right, pretty certain they have them already, I remember Bob talking about his.

Their a similar price on FT. The one I've ordered is the twin 18650 model - it does get good reviews mate.

Me and Bob have the DT 50 with 4000 mah lipo battery, but they do models with replaceable batteries and I think there's a mini in the pipeline

I said on another forum that if the MVP V3 is going to be expensive, I'll get another one of these or maybe a mini depending on the specs

My dear old Granddad always promised me a horse when he won the pools ..it was a great dream until I realised it was likely not going to happen! He meant well though :)

What! Hell, you're expensive! ...trick is do you have good taste to go with it! ;)

Aw! That's nice :) We've been there too ...not enough money coming in and a mortgage and two children. It's tough at times. The supermarket still gets the money I spent on cigarettes: it's been transformed into extra groceries and petrol! ;)

Think I saw mention of the Dovpo Mini being available already, MVP v3 pre-order is £50 at Vapour-hut so dearer than the iStick 30w or 50w
