You should have a dust mask! The type of paint you're using won't be a problem ....you started yet?
Only time I use a dust mask is when I re-spray cars. I know, I'm a bad lad
Managed to get quite a bit done today. Did all the sanding, hoovered up (had to fix the hoover though, cos it broke half way through), painted all the ceilings and did the cutting in around all the edges/light switches/plug sockets etc. Should take me a couple of hours tomorrow to just finish off painting - then I'm done

Yeah both done bob. It does open the airflow up just enough for me with them completely removed. It`s where i like to be, even with my Lemo`s ! I also read somewhere on the discussions about soaking new atties in the green listerine to get rid of any machine oil, so i stripped them both down to the bones, soaked them for a couple of hours, and there was a film of oil on the surface of the liquid. 8-o
So i drained that and gave them a good clean in soapy water, then a hot rinse. Seems to have done the trick that, so i will get them coiled and wicked tomorrow, and hopefully have a blast.
That's a good tip Terry. Not thought of using mouthwash for cleaning attys. Just don't gargle with it afterwards

Just take it slow and steady George, you'll be fine. Also let the drillbit do the work, don't put too much pressure on it.

I look at our two grandsons, and see/hear from our son & his wife the usual trials of bringing them up to be good people, and can't help wondering what shape the world will be in by the time they're their parents age.
Looking at the way things have changed in just the last decade, it's a sobering thought. I'd like to think that somehow, there will have been a reversal into better times.
I think of it like Sci-Fi books, a lot of the things that were written back when we were young, have happened, like landing on the moon, and I can see in future years, that some of the other things that have been said will come true as well. If there is such a thing as re-incarnation - I want to come back as a dolphin

You're right Bob. The day when machines have true artificial intelligence is already with us - that's one thing I honestly thought would never happen.
I believe in re-incarnation too. Would be such a waste to think that once we're gone that's it
