George's :rules: my KF4 has just landed on my doorstep from Aerovape

I'll see what happens with my VF re the battery it's just past the halfway mark at the moment so will look see, I would have thought that they should both deplete together in a parallel fitting, I am led to believe that in series the No.1 battery gets used more than the No.2 battery, that's why some people always say to swap them after each charge, seeing as these can work on a single battery, might be worth doing just that.

Phil's tour of the Aspire factory if anyone is interested:

Thanks Bob - that was really interesting. I'm very impressed by the Aspire set-up - it fills me with confidence.

On the other hand, there was the lobster...there seems to be no "kind" way to eat one of these. I think I'll pass on that.

Any mention of the BVC nautilus coils? - they've been terrible recently, even with the bigger holes.

Uh-oh! I've got a thing about lobsters and cooking them ...I'll pass on watching!

Interesting on the flask front, Bob, Terry and Ian
batteries indicator was showing almost flat so removed for charging.
The battery nearest the fire button was at about 15% charge, the other battery was reading as still fully charged.
So they are not draining together.Question is when one is depleted, does it start drawing from the other or is it just there for decoration;-)
If they are used one after the other does the indicator go back to showing full charge on the second battery.Don't know if i want to push the first battery that far.
I noticed a few of these coming up for sale, second hand, already.Wondering if people don't like the way they run.

Not too sure about the battery situation myself George ! I know when i used to run mine with two in, when the indicator was low, and i put them in my charger, one of them was fully charged within seconds  and the other one, took the right amount of time to recharge. I just run mine on one now, be on the safe side, but as you say, i don`t think they are both depleting at the same time.

Quite surprised by the comment that some companies lose up to 40% of their staff over the CNY in that they fail to return from their home towns, and as far as the lobster is concerned, I don't eat any seafood except fish - and I'm very fussy on which of those I eat as well.

My nitecore intellicharger i2 just conked out. Put two batteries onto charge (vtc4 and vtc5) and checked it five minutes later and it wasn't doing anything and the Base of the charger was quite warm. Not too warm to touch but warmer than it usually gets.

Anyone had this or have any ideas?

It takes a 3a fuse so I could try replacing that I guess.

It's about 7-8 months old maybe, wouldn't have expected it to cook out just yet.

Just ordered a 15 ml sample of the custard from charlies. If the reviews are accurate it should be an outstanding Vape :)
Remind me ...who's Charlie?

That is a surprising percentage! Thought they all valued their jobs.

As for sea food, we're exactly the same - only fish, and then very fussy about which! Generally, we like cod fillet, smoked cod or haddock fillet.
I actually like kippers but can't abide the bones! ....oh, and a little smoked salmon in scrambled egg on toast for a rare treat!

:rules:

Got the Aerovape order this morning.

Coffee Hazelnut Cake ...anyone else find it smells like old smoke ...like after a bonfire?

The custard is 'unusual' in smell and a little taste

Strawberries & Cream seems OK

Small bottle Royal Grandeur promising

The 30ml bottles don't have a nozzle!

I also got 6 Kanger simple coils for the Evods I still use now and then ...they have a half torn off FastTech sticker on them.

I'm looking for a nice fruity,80 % vg juice, 3-6 nic if possible. Can anyone help please

Check Red Juice - on the right hand side of this page, tick the ratio you want:
https://redjuice.co.uk/the-juice-bar/

Also, Vanilla Vapes have some nice ones but I haven't checked much in the fruit yet. Cloudwerks is 90% VG and their Uncle Phil is a nice strawberry one.

Avant Garde do 100% VG base (flavouring is PG) - I just got the Blueberry one but haven't tried it yet, but the Strawberry ones and the Berry Crush are both very nice.

Generally, anything termed Max VG is around 70-80%- and that widens your choices. Mount Baker for instance, plus plenty of others.
What sort of fruit is it you want?

I haven't opened any aerovape yet, probably won't get round it for a while.

Can anyone see a problem here........

I've just found the best juice so far for me Razzy Twist by LT Ecigs. 10mg @ 50/50.
If I buy 3 x 30ml bottles ready to vape, it's £16.56
If I buy 100ml base mix,12mg @ 50/50 @£5.40
And 1 10ml bottle of Razzy Twist flavouring (recommended mix of 10%) @£2.46
Mix the 2 together, I would have 110ml Razzy Twist E Juice ready to vape after steeping 12mg @ 50/50 for £7.86.

I know it wouldn't be exactly 50/50 because I don't know what the flavouring is, and the nic level would drop 10% so that's -1.2% which = a final 10.8 mg nic.

Yes I'm talking out loud again, but I'm nervous and want to make sure I'm right..:)

Sounds about right. May be an idea to make a 10ml bottle first to check if 10% suits you - that way you can adjust the amount of flavouring with the rest of the 100ml if need be by either using less or getting another bottle of flavouring if you'd like more flavour.

Whenever I've bought base mix, I get it in 6mg or zero (can mix the two if I want to) and then add the flavouring.
I have wondered at times if the ready to use brands that state a nicotine strength, is the strength overall or the strength of the base ...one of those things I've never actually checked as I'm not really bothered :)

Thanks Trish I'm looking for a fruit punch or a berry melody type juice.Have you ever tried any in the suicide bunny range they're on offer from spiritus £7.50 for 30 mil.Think I'll try one to see if they live up to the hype
I like the Berry Crush from Avant Garde, but it's not the cheapest (waiting for stock at the moment). I haven't had a lot of fruit ones though because some of them make me wheeze.
Chefs do the PMP and it's got plenty of good flavour, but not in Max VG unless you ask if they'll make it for you. They'll probably release the concentrate before too long for DIY.
I've had a couple of the Suicide Bunny: Mothers Milk and OB - both very nice, not perhaps something I'd go overboard for ...but we're all different!
If you want something custard/vanilla/caramel tasting then Interstate 365 is a really good 70% VG one, or the Ruthless Range (some fruit ones there), again 70%, and then Vape Kitchen at 100% VG, some fruit ones (All three are at Vanilla Vapes UK).
