Who won Bob, Dulwich or the old bill?

They held us to a 0 - 0 draw gate was 1459 with about 1% of their supporters

EDIT: we're 3rd and they're 6th in the Ryman Premier so fairly evenly matched and I suppose their supporters were policing main stream matches.

Help and advise needed about an ohm/resistance meter.
Mine just decided everything is 1ohm even with nothing connected. It was a cheap starter one from FT so no real loss. So I'm looking for one that will last now.
Is there any that I can screw a deck on that I can also use as a building deck, so I'm not looking for tiny lightweight one. Don't know if one is available but I would like it to test the ohm I'm building and also dry fire the coil so I can tweak it as needed. Is this possible?
Or can anyone recommend a decent one or even build something I'm looking for?

This is the one I use, has a built in battery so can only come slowboat, but it is the one that is most recommended on most forums:
$14.06 Atomizer Resistance Tester (Ohm Meter) - blue / 510 + eGo + 808D at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

EDIT: in the meantime do you have a regulated device that you can use to test with, like an istick ??

Yes I'm not stuck as yet that's why I'm looking for something decent. My last 1 was from FT and to be honest was rubbish or I was to heavy handed with it.
Like I said I'm looking for a ( in theory ) a wooden box roughly 6" square 2" deep with a 510 connector I can screw a deck on to, fit the coil, and fire it to tweak it into shape, everything on one connection. At the moment I'm building one one mod which I don't trust the meter on, then if it's under 1.2ohm I'm having to put it on another mod to fire and make sure it's ok. Just lots of fiddling on. Surely there's a combined unit that measure from 0ohm and fire at 0.1ohm and stable enough to sit on a table and work on. Sounds ideal if they are out there or someone knows how to make them.

I would say that your best bet would be a regulated box mod and you could make a base to fit it, but most boxes seem to only fire down to 0.2 ohms without going into the megabucks category. FYI my dovpo dt 50 fires down to 0.2 ohm it cost £37 from FT, it's been reliable from OOB

Think the only way you are going to get something like that is either buy a mod to those sort of specs or make it yourself, a quick google will bring up lots of ideas for an ohm tester but not one that will fire as well, although something in the back of my mind thinks I have seen something out there in a metal box, possibly made in the states, try putting the request out on a general part of the forum, you may get a better response Dave

Like the others have mentioned I've never seen an ohm meter that fires because that would essentially be a mod.

If that's important and you're looking for accurate resistance measurement my suggestion would be an evolv or yihi chip in a box mod but most box mods these days are fairly accurate.

Alternatively make a custom box mod that lies flat just for building! That's a neat little project idea.

That's exactly what I've been thinking. I can't see anything too difficult involved. A simple box, a battery sled,a switch and a 510 should make the easy part. And I've got my old meter and an innokin svd that I'm sure I could get the meter/screen part from, as long I isolate that from the live firing side it should be simples. Ha ha ha.

Bob or anyone who can help.Have you got a wooden box mod, or know where I can get one

If you are UKV look for SJP he makes his own but doesn't make to order you just have to wait until he posts one and jump in, or on FB look for Laik Mods, I have his squonker but he also does a similar mech mod and lastly there is http://touchwood-ecigs.com/

EDIT Touchwood are quite close to you, if I remember they are in Swansea or Cardiff the 18650 cost me £85

Think I may have found what I was thinking of: The Omnitester

It doesn't actually fire the atty but if you attach a mod at the same time as the atty it will show the voltage drop under load (so may fire the atty to do that)

I've been thinking about your project Dave and I have a concern that you could potentially be putting a high powered charge through a shorted coil. I think a better idea would be to buy a decent ohm tester and mount it on a decent base, just to get the coils fitted
Do yourself a favour and look at centre built coils on YT, once you get the hang it's like fitting a custom built coil
