Just ordered an eleaf GS-Air and 10 carts from FT. When I get them (sometime in March, I expect, bearing in mind the old "kung hei fat choy" bash) I'll report back. :)

Didn't FT do well? This little feller arrived this morning, and it's great imho. Easily adjustable draw, fits on the iStick perfectly. Seems to use a little more juice than the nautilus Mini, but it vapes so well that I'll forgive it for that. I'll give it a thorough work-out over the weekend.

Still fiddling a little with the kayfun mini today using others hints and tips. Using standard drip tip and and no air screw was ok, some dry hits but slow the vaping down and it's ok.
Tried grinding out the air channels a bit and a slightly different wicking technique and pretty much the same result.
Put a slightly larger bore drip tip on and refitted the air screw, all the way in then 1 full turn out. The draw is slightly tighter but big improvement on taste.

I've learned something else.:)

Yep, i`ve just vaped empty a Lemo and a V4. The Lemo will be getting the nickle treatment, and the V4 will be getting the Sub kit :) See ya later mate.

Let us know how you get on with the nickel build on the Lemo mate. You can be the guinea pig

I've got a few tanks at the side of me now that are nearly empty, but I'm having a lazy day today :D

You p**s taking pair of monkeys. Why i outta..........;-)

 It's a sign of friendship around here George. We always take the p**s out of our mates

I'm in the boiler cupboard myself mate as I got vapemail today but have just gotten online now.

Just the coil master clone from fasttech. Haven't had a chance to play with it but it looks like it'll work, just need a bit of sanding down, theres a burr sticking up out of the metal right where your coil sits from when the manufacturer has punched out the hole the wire feeds through. Reckon it'll be fine after 5 mins with the 180 grit. :toast:

Didn't Freddy Krueger live in a boiler cupboard Adam

The joy of clones mate. I had to give my Kuro coilers a damn good clean before I could use them too. Their working perfect now though :)

Noticed they are now advertising them down souf as well - I'll have to pop in there next time I'm passing

The Venison is quite expensive Bob, about 7 quid a pack. But the other speciality meat is pretty reasonable. It's good for a treat though.

There's a fantastic post in the general vaping section " my thoughts on sub ohm and latest vv / vw devices " it explains in detail a lot of issues that some of us maybe dont give enough thought to
It's quite a long post but pure gold imho, well worth a read

A lot of it does make sense Vinnie. It amazes me how much science there is behind vaping. Who would have thought we would all be thinking about wire gauges/coil heat/coil sizes etc.

I was thinking about this just a few days ago, but from the nicotine angle. I'm starting to think that the small amount of nicotine I use now, is probably only serving a small purpose on the whole, because the first thing I think of when missing it is the flavour, not nicotine.
The only time I think of actual nicotine is when something upsets me or makes me angry.
I like plenty of flavour, and favour the bakery or custard/cream type ones - if it's fruit, it'll mostly be red fruits with cream.
As for the taste of nicotine, I'm finding I don't care for it too much now.

Lots of people do get by on zero nicotine. But for me, I still enjoy the nic buzz. Some of it may be "all in my head". But I'm happy at 18mg. I can't see myself going any lower. In fact I still have some 20mg DIY liquid for extra stressful occasions - usually at work

Just reading that first sentence tells me I was right in my earlier post ...it's the flavour that is most important to me! :)

We're all flavour junkies, that's what makes vaping so interesting.

I saw an Iceland ad mentioning those, and I thought about you getting those! I saw some Venison in Tesco yesterday, but didn't get any ...had to go there in person to get a few things I'd missed off the online shopping. Still don't much care for going there ...it's full of people, for goodness sake!

 Having to deal with people, nothing worse is there

Nooooooo

You GRILL Steaks, NOT FRY Them.

On the Venison, Be Careful, No fat, cook med-rare, there about, or it will be dry and tough, trust me I know. :) JMHO

Thanks for the tip mate. I know it's a very lean meat, so it's best to be careful when cooking it.

I'll tell the Wife NOT to fry the steak in future

I only ever use my ipad on forums so camera always in hand and no leads to worry about, just the charging lead every night.:)

In this house, leads tend to go missing on a regular basis. The "lead fairies" come in the night and hide them somewhere unexpected

Just placed my first order with redjuice. 3 of Mrs lords, Summer pudding, Seville marmalade, and Victoria sponge cake. And 2 from Rip Tripper...Yep he has his own line of e-juice  So i am trying big beardy  not really  Foxy Fuel, and Lemony Lime.

Do you get some free beard cuttings with the juice mate

Sometimes fiddling is the only way to go, the only ball ache is the filling and draining and spilled juice getting on the connectors and giving false readings
I was going to go for standard wicking but I reckon I'll go for the chimney wick seeing as the air port is so much higher than the deck

There's no rhyme or reason to how the RM works nowadays
Are you vapin yours yet Dave ?
Not yet. I don't like too many mods and flavours on the go at once and I'm just trying out my kayfun mini and kafun v4 with the same juice for comparison.
When it's gone I'll probably do a lemo and the kayfun v4 again with the same juice ( but different to the v4 and mini test ) to compare. Still being fairly new ( 11 months ) I'm still playing at this and comparing new things to find what I like.

In case you'd forgotten :p ... my nickel build in the lemo is still going really strong. Flavour from red astaire juice is excellent and it produces a lot of vapor, more than some of my RDA builds. I've been enjoying it at about 30W at 450F but to be honest the temp doesn't get near the 450F mark, gets to maybe 410F. I wonder if it's reading it 100% right or whether the constant flow of juice from my excellent wicking keeps it cooler

He might do but I didn't see him while I was in there mate.

While I remember I made up some of your 'Terry's Jungle Juice' (without passionfruit as I don't have that one yet), kind of estimating the no. of drops compared to your % values, but keeping the proportions the same obviously.... aaaand it's pretty good. A lot of different fruits going on in there make it a bit difficult to single them out in the flavour but it's definitely pleasant. By the way when did you get your inawera blueberry? Because I think they changed it to make it stronger a few months ago and I have the newer one. It overpowers anything it's mixed with in my mixes and in your jungle juice it's possibly the strongest flavour I can pick out behind the orange which is 3x as strongly mixed.

Just by coincidence before reading that I'd decided to switch to a thinner wire because I'd heard my atty still fizzing after a lung hit with 26g wire, that cant be good with regards to gunking up or wasting juice

For anyone using android or apple system a new app has just come out for coil building and recipes, looks pretty simple and accurate but I'm not guaranteeing it lol. It's called CigToy.

Nothing to do with me, I just found out about it. It's a new app for android and apple for calculating coils and eliquid recipes and a bit more.
i have played with yet much but it's looking good.

Android : play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kr.co.wb.ejuice

iOS : itunes.apple.com/kr/app/cigtoy/id962273347?mt=8

I've got 7 or 8 juices that I'm happy with, some straight out of the bottle and some I mix together a la Trish, so I'm not really looking for any more unless I hear of a stand out juice that I think would suit my taste ( I've been fancying red astaire ) and I've got 7 orchids all built with a single coil that I'm happy with, but they dont like being out of the vertical for too long or they weep, not a lot, just enough to drive an OCD perfectionist round the twist, hence the lemo for out and about

Coil still fizzing after you've stopped firing I find is a sign that the wick is a bit dry. Either I've taken the power too high for the coil/wick combo in a tank or I need to drip some more in an RDA. Also I've noticed that rayon definitely fizzes more than cotton.

Red astaire is one of my favourites at the moment. Definitely recommend it.

Used mine for the first time yesterday - pretty good! It's a bit 'noisy' but works well, and yes, does use it up fast! :)

Don't think I'd want to try no nicotine - certainly not yet anyway! I was using a mix of a PG free one with the 20% of NT Strawnilla I have yesterday, and the PG free one was 6mg and the Strawnilla 18 (because I used to use it 20% with a zero) so I ended up with higher than I've been used to and knew it!

All a case of using what suits us best!

We're all flavour junkies, that's what makes vaping so interesting.
Definitely! :thumb:

No, and it's terrible - they should all stay at home!

The coils don't like chocolate, but that's nothing new! :)

Dragonscape: It's good - rather unusual as you'd expect, but I can taste all the flavours. I took it up to 11W (that's real watts, not on an iStick 20/30) and the flavours became fuller and more definable. Went back to my usual 6.5-7. The spices are subtle ..not at all in the foreground, and not a cinnamon flavour. I can taste the tea and vanilla, then the chocolate followed by coffee cream on exhaling. It's definitely cleverly layered and I do like it! In fact, I'll get another bottle!

As for POET (the brand behind the Dragonscape one), they're a bit elusive online, but I found that Vaperev.com are their worldwide distributor, and I'd found some conflicting information elsewhere regarding the PG/VG ratio - not only did they reassure me, they later sent me some photos they'd just taken of their current inventory with the bottles turned around to show the ratio! That to me is superb C/S.
As a result, I'll be ordering some of the small size in the range as some sound very good indeed.
Vaperev have an interesting array of brands too!

Red astaire is one of my favourites at the moment. Definitely recommend it.
I'd actually buy that without the menthol! ..in fact, I wish I could :)

Any one ever ordered from Justbottles.fr in France and are they OK?They have some liquids i've never seen for sale in the U.K.
I hadn't heard of them, but they certainly carry a huge selection!
I like how it's possible to select all of a specific strength or PG/VG ratio etc. too!

It'll take a while to look through it all! :)

Vaperama UK Vaperama - E-cigarettes, Vape Kits and E-liquids online and Vaperev US Vaperev Shop - Home page both have quite a good selection too.
