But I've played again with steam and tried all the Nichrome 20-80 and the Nickel 200 and I still can't get near them numbers. So is what he using totally different to what's on steam?

I use steam engine for Ni200 coils sometimes. The wire is listed as "Nickel 200" (I know you've just said you've been trying to get it to work but I thought I'd clarify).

E.g. 3mm coil using 28ga Ni200 with legs of 5mm is about 14 wraps for 0.2ohms. My lemo build comes in around 0.2-0.25 most of the time and it's 12-14 wraps around 3mm I think...

Well I just did it on Steam no problem with Ni-200:
Select Nichrome 200
alter diameter of wire to 28 AWG and Inner Diameter to 2.5mm then alter resistance to 0.13
and you get 11/10 wraps

Cheers for that I've put your numbers in and it's working? Even if I change back to the guessing I was doing, it's working? Don't understand what I was doing wrong the first time. That's with steam.
the other app CigToy has no nickel200 option.

I think saying Nickle is just a lazy term for getting to the point.

I've been pleased to see some sites taking pains to show the PG/VG Content of what they sell - it's important for a number of reasons, but just this week, I've had two bottles of Cuttwood arrive which were stated to be 70% VG, and before I've actually tried them, came across them on another site that showed them not to be 70% VG but 60% ...which makes a difference to me.
Still awaiting comment from the supplier.

When they arrive i'll go back for some Boardwalk and Lighthouse.Mainly because they sound good and i've never seen them before.Mind you there's a few others like that on there.
I've tried the Beard vape ones Bob from when Getvape had stock,really liked the #32.The Hibiscus one's different ;-)

HELP.
I've been a bit quiet for a couple of days but have been lurking and learning until.......

Now I've watched this a couple of times because I've got a couple of these on order from FT, hopefully get shipped in 2 days.
The problem I have is the coil he builds. He says about 10/11 wraps. Looks like about 2.5 mandrel or screwdriver. 28 gauge wire. But when he puts than on his mod it shows 0.13-0.15ohms.

Now I've played with steam and the new CigToy coil building apps and get nothing like those numbers. What am I doing or seeing wrong?

It`s because he is using Ni200 wire dave.

EDIT: Ignore that dave, i see it`s been answered. And Bob, i did say Ni200 mate

In the meanwhile - just trying the Must Vape Pencil ....Lovely but has a slight odd underlying taste on the exhale though ...sad thing is, I'm going to have to add something to it ..just 10% of something zero I think will do it - because the PG is 65%! (I do have a pear PG free!)

Just found another new one by stumbling on some reviews: Darkest Day Vapor - Shai Hulud & some others sound interesting!

Been looking for reviews of the Ripe Vapes in the hope of some definitive info on the PG/VG ratio - some sites give no info, others state 50/50 and a number of them give 70/30.
What I do see it though that Ripe Vapes gets very good reviews - small range but great feedback!
I have a bottle of their Pear Almond on it's way from Justbottles.
I've sent an email to the company, so hoping for a reply once California is up and about later this afternoon

No, not cinnamon ...was a slightly ...sort of oily taste at the end of exhale ..hard to describe.
I added 10% of the Vape Kitchen Juicy Pear (Zero PG) and it's fine now!

It depends on the response i get back RE: my refund george. If it goes ok, then i will get a couple of tanks from FT, maybe try the subtanks, dunno yet

The regular subtank is pretty bulky mate, I'd recommend the mini. The mini has a better build deck on the rebuildable section too. Regular Subtank is 25mm, Mini is 22mm.

Try it at 430°F, I'm running my Lemo at 430 and 18w but that is with 6mg Posset mixed with 5% MBV Sweet Cream

I think it's shameful to imply that the whole secret to theirs supposedly being superior hinges on a PG/VG ratio!

The way the higher VG ones have been appearing lately, I'm feeling a bit spoilt for choice ....until I try them probably!

I think originally a few vendors kept the PG/VG ratio secret. Now, with all the recent trashy articles in the news, most of them have started listing ingredients more openly.

Bored - yes. Uncomfortable - Yes. Jumpy - Yes. Not my favourite thing!
Planes out of the window not quite that close, but last time it was like passing in opposite directions on a really wide motorway - and we were nowhere near landing.

Best was probably flying over the alps at sunrise and seeing the snow tinged gold/pink. Interesting on the way back as we were lower and could see skiers!

Just focus on the end of the flight and the lovely holiday ahead. Or read something, like I do, to take your mind off it
