Mine has been fine too Trisha. The wattage up button needs to be pressed a little harder than the down button. But everything else is fine.
Could have been some early batches had a fault and they mostly fixed it - I suppose anything mechanical/electrical gets the odd rogue few though, so newer batches won't be 100% perfect.
I don't know what the percentages are for failures vs. non-failures so far. It'll probably be a small percentage, so we all just need to be aware.
When I first got mine, I found that if I didn't hold constant pressure when firing, it would easily switch to VV - either I've got used to it or it settled down because it doesn't do that now.

Our kitchen is the same, we have halogen spot lights in there, you can notice the difference as soon as you walk in.
Mine are 5ft tubes but they still get quite warm.

Mmm, I love a nice fresh continental breakfast on holiday :)
It was the best part of Austria - those imperial rolls are lovely! crisp outer crust and soft fresh bread inside! Could smell them as we came downstairs each morning ...could eat as much as you liked too, incl. cheese, ham etc .....lots of coffee and fresh cream too! ....not good for you! :(

You'd have loved the breakfast at the hotel in Madrid: the usual stuff, but they also did French Toast - made to order right on the serving counter, and fresh orange juice, each glass squeezed to order too. Delicious! Mid afternoon would see me back there for afternoon 'tea' Sangria and a large piece of gateau! No, I didn't put any weight on either - it was so hot (44C) and I walked everywhere!

VG will be in places like Boots. Should be next to the cough medicines, as it's used for sore throats. Safe for children under 1 and breast feeding women too - you can't get much safer than that :)
Yes, it should be quite easy to get VG & PG. The one Chefs use will still be available, so I'll carry on getting it from them.
As things stand at the moment, nicotine is the sticking point, and who knows, there may be ways around that issue.
Still, if we stash plenty away, we'll hopefully be OK.

Arsonist i think,i love a nice bonfire:) ,we've got a one and a half acre garden to fight our way thru',always something to set fire to here.
I love the smell of woodsmoke ...brambles, frost and autumn air - magic, and not so different in spring :)
Our garden is around 75'wide and 45 deep ...not huge, and mostly I planted it with trees, hedging, shrubs and roses. We have a garden chap that comes (usually in October) and he even takes the clippings etc away in his trailer :)

No problems here been using mine this morning. But fore warned,i'll keep an eye out
Seeing FT don't keep them in stock, and state a wait time, I think they must get them in from current production runs each week. Hopefully the one on it's way to me is an OK one!

Cruel Tel
He's a divel! :p

Have to start fridging mine with the Summer coming up,bought quite a lot recently.
I especially have a lot of NT ones - and they mostly have too high a ratio of PG, so are in higher nicotine to allow for dilution with a max or 100% VG one that's complimentary: Got Cookie chocolate dilutes very well with custard or crème brulee or even a strawberry one! Think I may have 300ml of that one alone.
I just found that well steeped Wakonda is very good diluted (bit like a type of creamy latte), so I'll have to get some of that to store.
I'm wondering if a larger bottle will stay fresher longer than say 4 small bottles.

Spoke to the guy at the local B&M,couldn't give a damn, think he's in it for the quick buck
I think there may be a lot that think that way!

Trish,i think reading between the lines, you moved your Manifesto on.Thought i'd put it thru' an Atlantis to get shut quick
Been vaping it this morning, seems to come alive around 29W,i'm getting the coffee and milk now.
It's still sitting here on my desk ....doubt if I'd go up to 29W ..not even sure I can with what I use - but I'll try it a bit higher and see how it is! Crucible seemed to have a better taste, but still not great.

Around here,i am that man :nah:
I used to have a resident one too .....the devastation to the well established laurel hedge after it had been 'tidied' was the final straw! The blackbirds had barely room to build a nest in it as it had been cut back to perhaps 8" deep - and then it wasn't even! It's taken around 5 years to get back to almost normal.
His philosophy is the more you cut off, the longer before you need to do it again!

The thought of what could have happened to all the other trees and shrubs was not a happy one, so age & precarious ladders were used (gently insisted upon) as a reason, and we got our garden chap ..and very good he is too!

Been there Trish, paid good money to have it done. Then stood there and thought "Look at the state of that".
Swore as long as i was capable of doing it,i would.
Trouble with these people they think they warrant paying the same wage as a skilled craftsman.
Nice you've found a good chap, they are few and hard to find.

After a 4 day steep the Vape Inc orange and the blackcurrant are both very nice, I think the orange is strong enough to lift some of the nondescript fruity vapes into a tutti frutti type, and I intend doing a bit of experimenting with the blackcurrant and the toonz and red astaire

The watermelon one is nice but the strawberry one is a bit weak both from Vape inc.Let me know how you get on adding extra blackcurrant to the toonz

I was talking about my husband ...no pay for him!

Nice you've found a good chap, they are few and hard to find.
Known him for a long time - always does exactly as I ask and doesn't overcharge.

A man after my own heart  I can sit and watch a bonfire for ages, something hypnotic about it.

Like you say, any type of mod can develop a fault. With a mechanical mod, they can be pretty straightforward to fix, but a regulated mod is a different story.

That's one thing I love about the holidays we've had in Turkey. The smell of fresh bread every day, lovely smell to wake up to :)

I think we'll be ok. There are that many vendors out there, I honestly can't see how they can all be shut down at once, if any heavy handed regulation is passed. It wouldn't be an overnight thing anyway, if things take a turn for the worse. I'm holding off stockpiling nicotine for now, may get a couple of bottles in a month or so, but not just yet.

Glad it's working out for you mate. I think your own DIY juice always seems to taste a little better than any shop bought stuff, mainly because you can tinker with it, to get the flavour exactly how you want it.

Just had an e-mail from Dominion about the damaged order. Apparently one of the bottles had emptied it's contents inside the parcel, the other bottles were fine. So their re-sending the juices tomorrow for me :D

I wonder if the irate e-mail I sent to RM helped speed up the returns process

I've got a mechanical one! Won't be using it though - giving it to my son to put on Ebay!

Pity we don't do the same thing here! Paris was wonderful early in the morning - we were there in August both times, and it was so easy to grab a French stick or baguette, some brie, a couple of peaches, and sit by the Seine ..then a big mug of fresh coffee! Nice ...wish I could buy an apartment there!

Sounds lovely, you're making me feel hungry now
Ha-ha! You may have liked our lunch today: Sandwiches of thickly sliced malted grain bread with smoked bacon, egg and thinly sliced mushrooms

I think we'll be ok. There are that many vendors out there, I honestly can't see how they can all be shut down at once, if any heavy handed regulation is passed.
Some likely won't shut down at all - which is why I want to gradually stockpile the nicotine part of it.
It wouldn't be an overnight thing anyway, if things take a turn for the worse. I'm holding off stockpiling nicotine for now, may get a couple of bottles in a month or so, but not just yet.
It won't happen overnight, true, but can you imagine the scramble for nicotine based liquids and the liquid nicotine itself the minute something is announced? I hate anything like that, so I'll start getting a 100ml bottle every month or so.
It's probably possible something will be said once the election is over.

I still can't believe that madness of it all though!

Glad it's working out for you mate. I think your own DIY juice always seems to taste a little better than any shop bought stuff, mainly because you can tinker with it, to get the flavour exactly how you want it.
I guess I may start buying the Chefs concentrates like Doughnut, Mint Choc Vapetto etc. to do the DIY eventually!
Perhaps more of those companies will sell the concentrates rather than ready made!

:laugh:Ahhh! I was thinking before,blimey we've got a posh one here.She's got servants quarters:p
Well, we do have spare rooms, but servants? No bloddy fear!

So possibly a faulty cap/lid, possibly someone jumped on it at the post office? ....or both!
Let's hope the second parcel arrives in A1 condition! :)

The istick 50 has fired itself again twice today so far. I've messages FocalEcig to see what they suggest.

Not saying it will work, but on the 20w there was a reset procedure:

Switch to Voltage mode 3 clicks take it up to max v and fire, take it down to min v and fire, change back to Wattage mode 3 clicks and do the same.
You may have to put something on top that will cope with the max v/w

I suppose it was quite costly to produce ...and perhaps they got too close to fact at times!
I love spy fiction - The Daniel Silva ones have been good so far (13 of them I think) He's Mossad but works all over the place, and collaborates with various government agencies, and I recognise a lot of the London places he's been to, and he's an art restorer too, so makes it even better for me.

Can't say I recall seeing the first two, but Harry Brown was extremely good!
Saw one with Clive Owen that was quite good recently too.

If you like gritty British films watch these
Best laid plans is loosely based on a a novel Of mouse to men.The acting off Stephen Graham and the big guy in there is tremendous. Its about friendship and love.In a sad.Gritty.Heartbreaking way
Dead Mans shoes Paddy Consisidne is oscar worthy acting in this film.He comes out of the army to see his ......ed brother. Then the ....e hits the fan

There's no big Hollywood explosions No massive car chases,Just brilliant acting sometime humours sometimes heartbreaking
