I've just sent a query to Cuttwood via their website.

I have two as yet unused bottles of theirs: Boss Reserve & Unicorn Milk, and both were sold as being 70%VG at Redjuice.
I just had an advertising email from Vapeclub, and they list both at 60%VG.
I looked at Justbottles, and they list it at 50%VG.

Unless all three companies are mixing their own from concentrate, which I think unlikely, it would be surprising if Cuttwood offered variations to their resellers.

I'll be interested to see what they say in their reply.

As per usual nothing on the Cuttwood site to say what the percentages are - typical of a lot of ejuice vendors, UKeCS says 40/60 for all of them, one US reseller says UM is 30/70 and BR is 35/65 - it really needs ALL vendors to start putting the info on their own sites as to the PG/VG ratio, nic variations and the bottle sizes they produce for retailers.

Had a problem with my Laik squonker earlier - thought it was the Laik that was causing the problem, but it appears it was the Zenith v2.5 BF atty coming up with check atomizer, took the coils out and wanted to replace them with Nickel so that I could use it on the TB Mods DNA40 squonker, tried a dual coil 29g 10 wraps @ 2.5mm dia, but it kept coming up with check atomizer, even on the VS, took one of the coils out, and checked it on my VS, and it was okay, put it on the TB check atomizer WTF, put it back on the VS - no problem - so now using the Zenith as a normal Ni-200 dripper (changed the contact screw back to the normal one). Might have to get another Origen v3 or RM5 for the Laik.

Those ratios I quoted are direct from Jeff Evans at Cuttwood.
I agree that all sites, whether makers or vendors should show full information regarding what is in the bottle.
Not only is it common practice with any consumable, things like nicotine and PG/VG ratios can be very important to users, and as such should be clearly visible on labels. More reason for less graphics and promotion on the label and more for content.

I got tired of asking about ratios when they aren't given, and unless it's something I really want to try, I bypass them.
Also, omissions like that can easily influence our future purchasing freedom. Not good either when so many sites are showing conflicting information.
I'm hoping Cuttwood will inform the sites I've pointed out, and hopefully send an information email to all their suppliers.

I know Wales has a lot of freedom with such things, but are they allowed to make such restrictions without there being any laws in place? Could it be construed as a rights issue? Cigarettes have been deemed dangerous for decades, but there is no firm evidence that vapour is poisonous/carcinogenic.
In a way though, it's a hard one to criticise, because no-one wants to influence young people.

At least in America they have differing State legislators, and some are more amenable than others. The States that oppose will lose out in the long run, because people will vote with their feet, just like MBV.
Yes, and that's got to be a good thing. State governors/mayors or whoever may start to realise (if not already) that those who welcome new and growing businesses can only add to the prosperity of that state.

It's all so very annoying, but as usual, governments will walk all over and manipulate those that they're meant to serve.

Opinion seems to say Pembrokeshire don't stand a chance on the public beaches matter.
But regarding other public places,i wouldn't be surprised if it goes thru'.Wales seems to take a lead in certain matters eg.before England to ban smoking in public places, charging for carrier bags before England decided to follow. So we''ll have to wait and see if it goes thru' because others will probably follow.
I'm not too concerned in some respects, as after the smoking ban, if i went some where public(enclosed) i simply didn't smoke. And probably rightly so.
But there are crazy exceptions imposing such a ban, after all a B&M vape shop is a public place. So such a ban would prevent the sampling of liquids etc.
I'm afraid to these narrow minded people vaping is just another form of smoking.

Never been charged for one yet, unless it is a stronger long lasting one of course, I think Lidl and Aldi charge for their ones, but they are the cheapy shops, Morrisons and Sainsbury's don't

Yes, and they obviously hear or read just one item of misinformation and never bother to find out any facts.
I agree about public places, and of course it's something we've become used to - it's just the dictator-like imposition of such things that really annoys me.
Regarding beaches, I'd be unlikely to use one on a crowded beach during school holidays (not that I would be there in the first place), but on a near deserted stretch of beach, walking a dog, I would readily ignore such silly notions.
If that was the worst they would do, then fine, but it's unlikely to stop at that.

We don't with Tesco either - I think they give extra points if you take your own bags, but I don't think there's anything in place for online grocery shopping.

 You'll have the carrier bag Police after you Bob;)
We've been paying 5p for plastic bags in the shops around here for approx 5 years. And the law says for PLASTIC bags. But you've got the likes of McDonalds jumped on the bandwagon and charge 5p for a paper bag,but that's another story.
England was supposed to start charging, guess they didn't bother.Planet friendly:unsure:

Suppose we get away with prescription charges tho' so it's swings and roundabouts.

BTW Lidl and Aldi are excellent shops.Don't go all shopping snobby on me Bob:laugh:

By the way my new favourite thing is vaping while driving. Have the window open a crack and the vapour gets sucked straight out quite effectively. Just never tried it as I thought the car would get a bit hazy.
just don't flick it out of the window when you're done!

Oh! I have been to them, Lidl is in Peckham so only a bus ride away, Aldi on the other hand is 2 bus rides away, so more awkward to get to, so maybe only once every 3 months or so, usually when they have something special on offer in the hardware area.

EDIT: my plastic bags are put to good use, saves me having to buy bin bags for the pedal size bins in the house.

But i believe Maplins get some good offers on them aswell.

(there are two Aldi's and 2 Lidl's within 4 miles of me.)
