It's a really good wine, and the only red that doesn't make my eyes feel like I was up for days without sleep! :)
I only drink a glass with a meal perhaps twice in a month, but I do enjoy it.

Have you tried Hardy's Legacy? It's a cabernet shiraz and reasonably priced. I've never had hangover issues with it. :)

I probably have. They seem to make some decent wines - my problem is something to do with sulfites or histamines ...some red wines give me the really tired & itchy eyes, and I just want to close them. It lasts a few hours then passes. That is with just one glass.
I love merlot, but never found one that doesn't give me that problem.
The Black Stump shiraz is the only one I've found that doesn't give me a problem, and it's extremely nice :) Not sure if it would be the same with more than one glass, but because I always work in the evenings, I rarely have more than one. Can't remember the last time I had a hangover.

I recall being given some tablets briefly for high blood pressure during a stressful time 11 years ago, and it had the same effect on me that PG does - virtually stopped me breathing. I think it was a diuretic and apparently it can be a problem for some people due to sulfites.

EDIT: That's interesting - he edited it out of his post!
Not sure if it's a requirement for the NT sub-forum, or something else, but he mentioned something about there being perhaps a fault with them.
Can't quite remember what it was, so I won't guess at exactly what it said now.

They are only catching up with the rest of the countries that have already banned it
True, but in a rather extreme manner:

“When I say stop, they stop,” said Qi, one of around 1,100 “anti-smoking inspectors” deployed on the streets of the Chinese capital by the Communist party...

The Belgians had similar inspectors going around the cafes (bars) checking that the ban was being enforced as well, when they first brought it out.

Didn't know that - I'm glad we didn't have anything like that. I can believe it of a communist dictatorial country like China, but Belgium!

I wouldn't mind betting that we had them as well - but probably like the Belgians, not as many as the Chinese, and 1,100 is not many considering a population of over 11.5 million in Beijing

Possibly - I never heard of anyone encountering them though.

I just dislike that kind of interference and bullying like tactics. Similar with when some councils put sensors inside bin lids, or had operators looking inside bins to see if any 'forbidden' items were inside. At least they were stopped from doing that eventually.
When I pay £240 council tax, I feel it's my business what goes in the bin (within sensible reason of course).

I got mail yesterday: Some more Chapter X11 from eLiquid in CA ..ordered on Saturday ..arrived Wednesday!

I think one of my Chefs orders has gone astray - ordered 8 days ago, and no sign. I'd better ask them about it. It was 2x30ml 18mg MCV (I'm making 150ml zero mg MCV to dilute some 12mg, and hopefully the 18mg if it turns up).
