Glad you didn't order any of the 1.5 vertical ones! I'm hoping they'll change my order to the original 1.2ohm OCC ones. (The white Subtank is on a different order).Tried a test on the new Subtank coils against the older coils. Both coils where .5.On two Subox's at 25w and filled with Trifle heaven and (drum roll please). The older coils are way better, used the both of them for at least two hours, just in case the newer ones needed longer to break in.The older ones give a lot more flavour
Hopefully Kangertech will make some changes to the newer coils.Just in case I ordered a white Subox and two packs of 1.2 coils from Sweet Vapes

Ah - so you stick an 18650 in it - but which ones? Got a few left over from vamo/lavatube days. I doubt that they'll be up to it.
And if you like to vape, say, a 1.8 ohm coil on 4.2 volts, what temp would that be? (Told you I was a tootle-puffer!). You need all sorts of new coils too? OMG!![]()

I put Doughnut King in two Subtank minis with one of each coils ..no contest!![]()
Nope, i build my own Marcus.Do you use these Terry Noble Vaping - Kanger Subtank OCC Temperature Sensing Coils
Sorry your back is still so painful Ian. Hope it starts to improve soon! Can't sit for much longer at the laptop though, that's the only downside still at the moment.
Hope everyone's having a great weekend.
I've slowed down on the tablet taking, I don't like feeling constantly light headed and sleepy. So now, I'm just coping with the back pain and popping pills when it gets too much. My finger is healing up nicely though, so that's a bonus
On the vape side. Nothing in the mail and I think my last FT order may have gone missing, but I'll wait a bit longer before chasing it up.
I have ordered quite a few new enclosures though for box mods, which should arrive on Monday. Also a "breadboard" so I can draft out some new ideas I have for regulated devices. I've been looking at PWM modules, lipo battery builds and even MCU builds. I can use the breadboard to do a test fit for my ideas before soldering everything up in an enclosure.

Hiya Bob,Well Terry's being doing well with the answers, thought I better put in myif you build your own coils then you will need Ni-200 wire, 28 or 29 AWG is probably a good one to start with, but you won't be aiming for 1.8 ohm, but more like 0.1 ohm, and as Terry said ignore the volts or wattage - just ramp it up to full and then use the Temperature to adjust the vape, normally 400-450°F is what you would need, it will alter the wattage applied to keep the vape regulated and stop dry hits and cotton burning if it runs out of juice
Hiya Bob,
I did mean to mention about the NI wire etc, but forgot.I`m not sure if pipe builds his own though, preferring to buy ready mades.
Yes, not an awful lot of choice out there ATM !Ah well, if @e-pipeman doesn't coil, then his only options tankwise are the Subtanks, Nautilus & Mini and Atlantis, coils for the latter ones are only available through Vaporshark, but retailed over here.

Vapemail : (of sorts)
Ultrasonic cleaner
Smaller than i imagined, but ideal for the job.
It'll hold half a dozen tanks, if you take the basket out, and when you empty it a quick wipe round with a tea towel does the job.
