She probably hasn't forgotten :) ...I'd mostly persevere with the rain though or she'll have you doing that for a long while if she can get away with it
Nice to put it near the door though for if you don't notice her go there.
Just took her out now Trisha and we both got a soaking. No softies in this house  Just stayed with her till she had a pee, and come in and put the fire on to dry out a bit.

Haha visited the Isle of Skye a few months ago and stopped on the way back to have a look at that and it was covered in scaffolding! Very picturesque!

Can't say I ever saw an ancient castle with scaffolding! :)

Bit unlucky there Adam.
Nice in a way that someone has the money to care for it and it's being done.
Too many beautiful buildings need attention,i think the government should do more for the preservation of our history.

I'll let you know on the UD,i paid the $2.50 for e-packet,so it shouldn't be too long.

That's the only problem with puppies ..you have to go out with them until they get used to it! No fun getting a puppy any time other than early summer, because nights can be really cold otherwise!
Ours soon learned what 'hurry up' meant

It is good that ancient buildings are preserved, and I think very important too.
We've seen some wonderful later buildings demolished and something ugly and new built where they stood - sometimes, you just know there had to be underhand dealings with the planning department!

I pay £17 per month which includes line rental and 5000 minutes of calls ...not that we ever use anywhere near that!
That's quite a good deal, if I paid the line rental monthly it would be £15.95 (going up by £1 in September) + £5 for unlimited anytime calls, I hardly make any calls, the problem is that the ones I do make, tend to be longish calls, and what with paying 9.58p/minute for just a normal call it soon adds up in a month, I'd rather pay the extra £5/month and not have to worry about it, paying Line Rental Saver (1 year in advance) it knocks the line rental down to £12.99/month which is almost the same as you pay.

I saw quite a few when I was younger, and my dad used to take us out at weekends, Conway, Caernarfon & Harlech have all had scaffolding around them at some time for renovations, and of course the latest one was Windsor when they had the fire.

I only saw the phone package when changing to Zen in 2011, and at the time, our bill from BT was around £120-130 each time. This at £17 ..it's actually £18 - is far cheaper. Think the phone package deals have changed slightly since, but I'm still on the same one.
They get repairs etc. done faster than going direct to BT too - and the new master socket cost £50 less than through BT too ..yet it's all done by BT! o_O

We were disgusted by the letter we got from BT when we changed over - instead of saying they were sorry to lose us but to come back if ever etc., they confirmed the change on the correct date, and went on to threaten us that if we left any part of our bill unpaid they would prosecute us and jeopardise our credit rating!
Our bill was always paid online before it was close to the due by day, so they had no valid reason to send that. They certainly ensure that a customer would be reluctant to return!

I suppose they must all get scaffolding on them at times - I just never actually saw any that I can think of.

Never seen anything like it before! ...they'd have to be the only provider of phone service for us to go back. Such a pity they own the lines - I have a feeling their profit margins would sink were it widely possible to have a choice.

I got mail today: tried some of the Reign Drops from GetVape @ £4.99 - yet to try them, but some do sound promising. 2x6mg 2x3mg - 80%VG - Festival, Feast, Empress & Throne.

One that I didn't get is described as 'mystical fruit' ...if they can't tell me what fruit, I'm not playing lucky dip!

Edit - just saw a review: Pear,Raspberry,Melon,Grape and even Citrus fruit of some kind
My dislike of melon in particular is one reason I didn't try it - really don't like melon ones. I once had a 10ml sample of one, and surprisingly did use it all, but it was a short lived 'like'.

I see a few reviews since I ordered mine - only see one bad review, so it may prove to be OK stuff! :)

There is talk of splitting Open Reach away from BT, that would mean that the lines would be owned by OR and everybody else including BT would rent the lines from OR [Virgin Cable excepted of course - wish they would lay more cables]

I thought they already were operating seperately - my term 'BT' should have been OR.

Cable got laid in parts here, then they stopped. Our eldest has just moved from a house with that cable to one without, but thankfully, he seems to have a good connection.

That's nice to hear - I like the sound of that one ....and Empress & Feast!

Both of the mint ones, plus melon and mystical fruit didn't appeal to me.

Yes they operate separately but OR is still part of BT, the talk is of making 2 different companies, so at the moment BT OR owns the lines, and BT retail rents them out to the likes of thee and me. Same in a lot of places, 100 yards from where I live there are cable troughs, but they don't come down my road, or any of the roads that spur off that road, there are not a lot of places that can get Virgin Cable services, anyone else wanting Virgin has to rely on BT FTTC lines

Ah! lost track of who is responsible for what and who pays who  - son said Virgin stopped laying cable due to excessively rising costs! No doubt local government wanted too much.
Think he's with Sky now - wasn't much choice where he moved to.

I see a lot of lighters at FT recently ...perhaps expecting an increase in cigarette smokers?

Did you get your TW TPD e-mail Trish?
Bloody joke,the laws in Norway.
It is illegal for a business to sell or trade any nicotine related products.
But an individual can import them,if for their own use.
Wheres the bloody sense behind that then.

It didn't make much sense! Have they perhaps translated it wrongly? ...I just don't see the point.

I can't get my head past the fact that they seem oblivious to the fact that people are giving up smoking tobacco! ...how is that not a good thing for everyone!

Since when do politicians make sense...they've also classed them as medicines :confused:o_O
