George - I've just been looking at a clone of 5P CL:
All TFA Flavorings
  • 2.5% Kentucky Bourbon
  • 1.5% Coconut Extra
  • 1.5% Acetyl Pyrazine
  • 1.5% Toasted Almond
  • 1% Vanillin
  • 1% Bourbon Vanilla
  • 1% Brown Sugar Extra
It may we worth trying at some point - 90% base and 10% of flavouring.
Someone used 15% flavouring and I think that may work better for anyone wanting a fuller flavour.

I've been using the Lazarus Trinity the past two days, and it's very nice: light flavours of bourbon with almonds and cream ..the almond & cream flavour lingers a little and is very nice - doesn't overwhelm me with flavour though, hence my looking at this recipe.

I'll have a closer look at some point ...I saw where it can be used with a monitor too ...seems very useful for times when the main computer either wears out or gets a problem.

I was thinking I could put certain files such as image reference onto a big screen from that stick?
My notebook computer is a good one, but compared to the image quality I get on this screen, it's nowhere near as good. I have a full back up done every week and some is updated on the notebook too regularly (when I remember )
Or, is it more as a stop-gap for internet and email?

Edit - it's £103 at Saverstore now. Could be even more than that at Dabs by tomorrow though

Now you know that I'm going to say "get a Chromebook", don't you? :) They just work and are perfect for those occasions when Windows just won't help.

:) They look rather nice but I have a Windows 7 17" notebook ...the screen doesn't give me good enough reference images to work from ..I take a lot of photos of set-ups and individual objects, and often zoom in for the detail.
That 'Intel thing' looked useful for something like that if the desktop has a hissy fit

I bought another nautilus Mini today (not from FT because they want me to pay in Bitcoin and I don't do gangsta stuff). I just can't stand the thought of being without one.
I should give mine another chance! I have plenty of coils, but think I had a few bad ones and that put me off.
May be an idea for me to try the Doughnut in one ...the Mint Choc Vapetto did fairly well in one of those.

I have an HP Pavilion 17-e101sa Notebook PC. It's fine for what I need to do. The rest of the time (forums, email, purchases) the Chromebook has the edge. Very secure (every tab is a sandbox) and thin client so infection is nigh-on impossible. Portable and the fastest boot-up of anything out there. Useful as a back-up device.

I had good coils from The Electric Tobacconist. Might be worth a try. :)

The Chromebook does sound useful - my Chillblast notebook synchs to the desktop, so a Chromebook that operates totally independently would perhaps be useful ....if I get some good sales in a few months, I may just seriously consider one! :)
Seems to be various choices ..what size screen do you have?

Ah! I just placed my first order with them last week and delivery was fast - had a question and it was answered quickly too.
They do seem to have quite an assortment of things too!
I'll try some coils from them - thanks!

Just remembered - the silly Bitcoin thing is because you usually use Paypal isn't it.

Yes - it seems odd that to buy authentic stuff you have to use the preferred currency of the money-launderer. But hey! (as people sometimes say).

Mine is very small at 11.5 inches, but it's a champ in practice. There's always the Chromebook Pixel if image quality is paramount - but it is rather expensive! :)

If you use Chrome then everything synchs across all your devices - phone. windows machine, chromebook. Which is nice. :)

Nice, is the velocity a clone and if so which one did you go for?
Yes, from FT, 2 of the black 1:1 ones because they have the bf 510 pin as well, hoping it will fit on the Tobeco one that I already have, so I can shift that over to my TB DNA40 squonker

Just Aspire and PP being awkward - I order Aspire stuff from FT but always use a CC.

I'll pass on the expensive one - rather spend higher amounts on another desktop when I have to. That will be a necessary evil when it comes to having to buy another - same goes for the monitor, and I do need to do some homework with that because the second LaCie hasn't been as good as the first (s-PVA vs s-IPS) The first was perfect out of the box as pro-review suggested it would be - the second took two days and some remote tinkering to get it to play ball! Was really disappointed with that - it's coming up to warranty running out so will likely die two weeks after like the first one did!
I need to source a good monitor to pro standard that doesn't need calibration! I need to know what I want and have it lined up so that I don't buy something in a hurry when this one goes kaput. Must do some reading!

I just ordered the elkonigin v3 clone, interested to see how it is. If it sucks I'll buy the elprinz but given the material cost and China production I still think the elprinz should be $35

Not happy we the hotcig tai fun gt-t clone at all. The infinite (redesign) kayfun 4 clone see,s good but needs the gold spring, which is only oem. It fits bough as does the oem v4s center pin, which ups the quality of steel of the clone.

Figured I'd add a few recent experiences and say hi!

P.s I'm not sure what is going on with their payment. To buy the ek3 clone they wanted bit coin. I faked my way through it returned to my cart and bout with a credit card.

So bear that in mind if you get stuck with bit coin, click to proceed, then hit the link at the top of the page it says not to press until finishing transaction. Then hit your cart...or open in two different tabs

Hi @h00ligan always nice to see a few people from 'tother side of the pond dropping in here to give their views, normally the bitcoin problem rears it's head when the "real" manufacturer has got Paypal to black the supply of clones and/or originals (as in the case of Aspire) from FT, so maybe erl has gone along the same lines.

Nice Trish, are you going to give it a go?

I've had difficulty ordering an atomiser before(non-Aspire)and had to use a CC in the end.
But i ordered and received Aspire Tritons using PP without a hitch.

I figured I'd pop in as an expat. With an American accent now. :)

Yah I thought that was the case with the authentic manufacturer. Interesting there is a way around it. Hopefully it won't be found by them.

I can understand the PayPal lock out but not credit card companies.

I'm always excited to read about people's clone experiences. Staying up on what's new. But ultimately I'm interested in getting some authentic pieces. I went on a Clone bender to get an idea of which authentic I want to get. Not that I'm any closer.

Anything new and exciting at fast tech?
Anyway nice to pop in here!

Expats are especially welcome , what part of the UK did you come from ??

I don't mind cloned mods as long as they work okay, but not overly keen on cloned atties, although I do get a couple now and then

Modwise -for regulated mods, some of the best at the moment are the Vaporshark, Beyond Vapes Solara DNA40 and the Sigelei 75w TC especially if you are into Temperature protection.
RDAs - Velocity, Mutation and Doge are all quite good and don't break the bank
Tanks - Aspire Atlantis, Kanger Subtank Mini, eLeaf Lemo 2 and Aspire Triton are all fairly cheap because the are Chinese Authentic, but are also good.
