If I've missed/got anything wrong George will probably correct me.

Wouldn't dream of it Bob.
I know very little about the Triton, and prefer to keep it that way

@Brynglas I forgot to ask you how the Ijust 2 battery is for pocket firing. Does it need to be turned off / locked to avoid pocket firing? I never remember to do that and constantly fire my ego ones in my pocket. I assume it's 5 press on/ off? Did they do anything to mitigate pocket firing?

Yes 5 clicks on/off.
I always lock before pocket.Just incase.

Evil George  Bob, good luck with the latter :) Just been looking at the Crius, and they have got some good reviews on FT, unlike the Aromamizers which have none

There's a lot of whinging going on about the Crius.Seems everyday a new problem.I haven't suffered any of them.
But it seems the latest is cracking insulators.
I can only judge on what i've found.....Good tank.

Some people expect them to last forever, at the prices FT charge, if they last 6 months or more then we're laughing.

@Pictor here are the 1.8 Clapton coils Authentic Aspire Triton Mini Replacement Clapton Coil 1.8ohm Coil Head (5PCS/Pack)

Here are the 1.2 Authentic Aspire Triton Mini Replacement Kanthal Coil 1.2ohm Coil Head (5PCS/Pack)

The clap tons provide more flavor and a bit more vapor but take a split second to heat up. The 1.2 are a bit faster to get going but not quite as much flavor.
They're both a massive improvement over the nautilus coils and are designed to work in the nautilus.
Fast tech doesn't have them yet as they're brand new. Sweet-vapes has both at the same price if they ship to the uk. I'm not sure.
Sweet vapes do ship to the UK, but I see Aspire UK have them - are these the right ones?:

Kanthal & Nichrome can be used in any device whether it be Mech or Regulated, so it looks like I was right and they have changed over to Nichrome for normal coils, and there are a lot of people who don't like the taste of Nichrome
Think I'll pass on those then!

Glad it turned up :) .....mine hasn't  - hoping for tomorrow!

George/Bob, i succeeded getting the Aromamizer running great today :) Where i had been nudging the coil down, i decided to go up instead, so the coil is more or less directly in line with the post holes ( Take note Bob ) :) Had a pull, no more harshness, full of flavour and clouds galore.
So obviously, i had the coil/coils too low down the base so not cooling, hence the harshness. Next up is to try duals again, but i have run out of 26 ga  I ordered some 24 ga last night and i will try with that when it arrives. Glad i have sussed it now !

What did you wrap on Terry?(mm).
I think with verts, that will solve the problem.
2.5 on my jig George. I may try with verts as you suggest :) I`m just pleased i solved the problem i was having with it, now i can just play with different set up`s to find whats best for it. When i last tried verts though, i was still getting the harshness :(

I'm going to try an Ni built in the one that came last week, should be OK, as Steamcrave make premade Ni coils for them.
So shouldn't suffer from poor conductivity.(if that's the right word).

I did mine on 2.5,think 3 would be too big.
Yes you`ll be fine with the Ni George, seen a vid on youtube :) Did you do horizontals with the clapton ? I think i remember you saying you did !

I think because i was still getting harsh hits with verts, i will probably go with the clapton duals, but go horizontal George. Like i said, now i know where the coils should be, i can play around a little build wise :)

Will you not bother with TC again then Terry?
I don't feel as if i could go back now, hence wanting to try Ni in the rdta.
Yeah course i will try it again George, just fancied a change, that`s all :) I get bored sometimes, so like to change my vaping habits around.

Those are he right ones. Honestly I'd buy the less expensive ones. I'm not sure the clap tons are worth £2 more. I didn't think of aspires store because in the USA shipping anything is like $20 from them. It's ridiculous. A lot of stores will be getting them in soon enough. Even a local shop
Probably if you want to try one of each to decide if you prefer the Clapton or the 1.2 kanthal.

I'm using he 1.2 right now as I burned out a Clapton testing he upper power
Limits. It's great. The Clapton gives more throat hit. If you're vaping 0mg high vg you may prefer them since that type of juice lacks any throat hit. On the other hand if you're vaping 6mg juice you may not like the additional throat hit. Flavor may be ever so marginally better wih the clap tons but honestly they're both great compared to the nautilus bvc coils.

I e made four fasttech orders in three days. I keep forgetting stuff. I can't believe I managed to spend $100 here and only bought a couple of mech mods and random "junk" like vape bands etc. I did buy a couple of the 3 meter braided jab mini cables. They're outstanding for £2 or whatever they cost. If you haven't tried them and find yourself preferring a log cable that's quite durable you can et them in a multitude of colors, lengths, and connectors. Just search braided cable on their site. They're a damn site better than the standard plastic usb cables.

By the way. I just wicked with Koh Gen Do after using cotton bacon for the last four months. I have to say going back to kgd the flavor is quite bad and it doesn't wick anywhere near as well. I realize cotton bacon is just shaping (maybe) and rebranding(definitely) some Other product. But whatever it is it works very very well. I've tried to hate it for four months but it's the best wick I've used.

Muji didn't wick for me at all
KGD is good but takes a long time to get the initial flavor off
Sterile cotton balls from the pharmacy are probably close to what cotton bacon is.

I kind of want to try fiber freaks now since everyone seems to love it. But cotton bacons small bad lasts me 2-3 months reworking 3 atomizers daily and fiber freaks isn't readily available anywhere I order. I'll continue to check for it each time I'm going to order something. If anyone is able To Figure out what the source cotton is in cotton bacon I'm all ears.

I've been trying rayon recently but it too has a flavor. I wonder if I did it too tightly in my gem tank. In the taifun gt2 it seems better but not as good as cotton bacon

Are there any wicking materials you all think are head and shoulders above the rest?

I just read a thread on UK Vapers regarding fiber freaks, apparently it`s just plain old Rayon :)
