No. It's down to the shadow health secretary:

"Labour is not able to support annulling these regulations given their wider benefits. "
Yes, the main problem that Article 20 is only a small part of the TPD, think the motion should have been directed at Article 20 only and wanting that part thrown out.

Labour, in the form of Heidi Alexander, have said that they won't support the motion, which means that it would fail. Disgraceful!
I hadn't realised that someone like her could do that.
Some 'health' minister!
I do often wonder what on earth qualifies certain people to become ministers of very specialised departments.
I firmly believe that a minister should have been working in, or an professional expert in some field of the area in which they are minister for.

I watched the Cameron/Farage programme last night.Didn't hear anything,i hadn't already.
I think we've stopped listening in the true sense of the word.

Made our minds up long before all this schoolyard stuff began - it's reached a point where one would find it hard to separate truth from fantasy.

I did think at the time, have you come to ask a question or have an argument.
The presenter should have been on top of that.
At times, presenters do appear to be showing signs of bias, whether by instruction or personal preference.

This will never go down as being a fair and honest referendum.

It may just be me Trish, but i don't think the PM should have the right to sway the vote in the way it's being done.
Scare tactics don't impress me.And i'll never look at Cameron with any respect again.

I wholeheartedly agree, and this has been one of my main problems with this whole affair ..it's so lop-sided, so unashamedly manipulative, I see it as a total betrayal of all that I thought he was.

The job of Prime Minister carries with it status and respect. It seems wrong that these qualities can be effectively hijacked by the Remain campaign. It is borrowing the clothes of Government as well.
It feels as though the whole thing has been fixed, and we are merely being paid some sort of perverse lip service.
Once more, it seems as though we are being treat like easily appeased children.

Interesting how the "technological glitch" on the voter registration site is being seized upon as an opportunity to extend the time available to register. Is this because the "last minute" registrations are likely to result in Remain votes?
I'd love to think that those making the most noise about it are desperate 'out' people who somehow forgot to register!

I don't get politics and i'm probably better keeping away from them.
But how can a leader of a party say things and his health minister go in the opposite direction.(Corbyn/Alexander)

I initially thought exactly the same, but for instance, if everyone had to agree with the leader, there'd be no conservatives backing the 'out' campaign.

I seem to recall that the shadow deputy leader doesn't fully agree with Corbyn either on certain matters.

As far as this 'fatal' motion is concerned though, I did think that it couldn't be quashed in this manner.

True that!
Sadly, they all deserve an opinion.
But there again, so do we, and no-one should try to twist our arms into their own way of thinking.

Going back to Heidi Alexander - is she an expert on tobacco vs. e-cigarettes? On what extensive knowledge is she basing this skewed reasoning? ...and as shadow Health Minister, does she not appreciate the value of our eminent scientists and physicians?
