Back to a little doom and gloom...

One thing that has sickened me since the result of the referendum. The stay voters(losers:))are now throwing the Racism card at those who voted leave.I take great objection to that.
Me too, but it's a tiresome ploy. There's nothing racist about wanting better control of your borders.

Our own reasons for voting 'leave' were little to do with immigrants, more to do with the loss of control over our country. Why elect a government when they get controlled by a bunch of faceless characters who have decided what's best for us ...yet don't live here or know us well, but have the power to seemingly drain vast chunks of our money to give to whatever 'cause' they see fit.
I know there's more to it than that, but that's basically how it feels.
Of course, there's always the fact that some people actually like being controlled with everything planned out for them.

For losers to play the 'racist' card is clutching at non-existent straws and sour grapes.
There's more ahead than thinking about dissenters, but if that pride and determination that used to prevail in this country is still lurking beneath the dull grime of EU control, then we'll come out the other side in one piece.

Small minded people who were like lemmings and wanted to jump off the cliff with Dave et al, I won't be losing any sleep over them, sticks & stones comes to mind.

Talking of sleep, or lack of it the night before, went to bed about 22:40 and didn't get up until just after 11:00 this morning - over 12 hours sleep

Definitely!

Very long time since I slept that long - think 9.5 hours is the most I've slept for some years. 8 hours is my best sort of sleep, 7 my most usual - any less starts to have a negative effect on me, and I've had far too many nights lately with just 5 hours!

Hope you feel much refreshed after your mini hibernation :)

:D

So - have you tried any new liquids lately? ...and have you been out on the bike much?
Apart from the rejuiced ones Trish no i haven`t, Stuck in my ways  I`m loving the Creamy Vanilla, but the Apple pie is a bit lacking ! Maybe it would be better with an extra shot. Still got 2 more to try, when tanks become available, Busta Lime and Lemon Meringue Pie & will report back once sampled :)

I sold my bike last week, A father bought it for his son, and they came to pick it up from Birmingham. The reason i sold it was that we just don`t get the weather ( He says, looking at it thrashing Down as i type this ) It never saw a drop of rain while i had it because of all the Chrome it has got. Pretty pleased with the sale, as i got back what i paid for it, after owning it for over 2 years :)

I'm finding myself getting stuck in my ways quite a lot. I keep coming back to the Chefs ones mostly. Seems to always be two, one of which is always MCV with one other ...this past few months it's been the White Velvet.
I do like the Stash ones, but how long for, I don't know - costly if they only remain in the US now, as both sources I've used put the full value on the label.
I do like a few of the BORD02 Jean Cloud ones - favourites I think for now are the Crème Anglaise and the La Belle Époque ..the latter being a bit like LCCC but a bit more pronounced in the cream & cheese cake flavour (to me at the wattage etc. I use).
There's a number of others I have that are well worth me revisiting, such as a number of the Avant Garde, Certified 365 and Co-Star, and the Artists Coll. Dragonscape, Hemingway and a number of others.

Seems no matter how many others I try and like, there's always some Chefs in a couple of tanks! :)

I've got a lot of concentrates though, and some of the new brands seem very promising ..I must get around to making some.

As long as you're happy. I wouldn't take much pleasure from being on a bike in bad weather ...did it when I was a mad teen - there seemed to be some sort of pride taken in proudly arriving dripping wet, but definitely not now!
We don't get enough good weather by a long way - we're wanting another perfect sort of good weather day but not too warm to take Soph out to the coast while we can, but it's been mostly unsettled or too hot (two days) for her.

If the past month or two has been of any value to us, it's been seeing our politicians in their true colours ...and it's not been a very encouraging experience with many of them ...downright shameful at times.
Can't think of a Labour candidate to take Corbyn's place if he goes ..personally, I wouldn't want Millipede back at all! Can't say I've taken a lot of notice of them all since Corbyn came on the scene.
With the Conservatives, Boris isn't as batty as he makes out at times, and Theresa May is a bit of an enigma as she's been very quiet throughout it all (wise person!). Gove? He's OK, but I wasn't too sure about him in the past, so why would I be now.

Let's hope they get someone to take over from Cameron that's acceptable to us and does a good job in getting this looming 'exit' sorted out efficiently, painlessly and swiftly!
Seeing people wanting to change the rules on voting percentages and turnout after the event is unbelievable!

Yes i have to say that Chefs are still my main ones, I really like the fact that even the concentrates when made up, taste exactly the same as the ready made`s :)

Keep your eye out for Andrea Leadsome. She'd make an excellent PM or Chancellor.
I hadn't heard of her ...but we'll see if her name pops up! :)

Britain's hide and seek champion for 2016 has been named, And the winner is....George Osborne
Ha-ha! ...so conspicuous by his absence, it would be truly laughable if it weren't for the fact he's been in the responsible position of manipulating a vast sum of cash! It's shameful the way he's hidden himself out of sight ....do we get rid of him too in this deal!

Totally consistent, and not many I could say have been poor. Not all to my own taste, but all appealing to some people.
I have some very interesting concentrates from them too from such as Oneshot Wonder, VapingHome Mixers, DIY or Die, etc.

Charlies chalk dust - Head banging boogie.

Really good.:thumb:
The 'icy' part put me off trying that one.

Funny i thought of you while vaping it:blush:Was thinking you wouldn't go for the blueberry.
I wouldn't take a lot of notice over the ice bit Trish. Can't see what they are on about:unsure:
I thought it would have that cold almost menthol type effect, and I've never found a blueberry that didn't have a foisty taste yet - but I did see a blueberry cream muffin/cake somewhere recently that sounded rather tempting, but I can't remember what it was!

Truth told Trish.I bought the selection pack(5 bottles). And i thought :unsure:Blueberry, i'll try that first as it's least likely to be the best.If what i thought to be the case, turns out,the others will be excellent.
Certainly no Menthol or Coolada.

The chatter about the petition for a second referendum is really annoying me, and it's about time someone with authority stepped up and told us in no uncertain terms that the vote would be completely respected.

I just saw on the news that Labours Lammy has said this:
David Lammy urges Parliament to “stop madness” by ignoring the EU referendum result

All these people signing the petition argue that a second ballot is justified because leave voters did not fully understand the consequences in the event of a Brexit - arrogant g-ts, do they think we're all idiots!

The petition, set up by William Oliver Healey, states: "We the undersigned call upon HM Government to implement a rule that if the Remain or Leave vote is less than 60% based on a turnout less than 75%, there should be another referendum."

In other words they want the goalposts moved because the result didn't suit them! :grr: :-x
...and believe me, that is me cursing! I'm feeling stressed and dreadfully angry about it.

I for one absolutely could not face another referendum ..and if there was one, we'd get all the remain people rushing out to vote, and many of the out people letting them get on with it because they'd feel apathetically that there was no point in even trying!

Can you tell how I'm feeling today!? ...no need for a mood indicator.

It's being called the Neverendum.

In my book it's cheating until you get your own way.

2 million have signed the petition :-x
We really do need someone responsible to reassure us that the vote was indeed final!
That tells us that over 2 million people are indeed wanting the cheat!

I've just seen that the petition was begun in perhaps May ...and that it doesn't end until November - so why is there so much noise being made about it? Surely it cannot have any impact on what will surely be well underway by then?
Even if wanting more than a 75% turnout was rather ridiculous, what they asked for before the event may have carried some strength, but in retrospect, surely not!

I've never felt so utterly angry about something political - with something at this level, I expected a little more sportsmanship, as there was always going to be a winner and a loser.

The TPD pales into a lesser irritation for now.
