They have obviously understated the amount then, otherwise you would be paying about £16 (£8 VAT + £8 RM)
I normally just wait until I need a big enough order so that the shipping gets swallowed up and makes it worthwhile.
Yes, they must have - I'll probably be able to see when it arrives tomorrow :)

On the political front, I see that they have delayed the result of the new PM election until Sept 9th!
I hope that doesn't mean we could get someone staunchly 'remain' who will try to keep us partially 'stitched up' with the EU!
But, on the positive side, a new contender has appeared:
"Mr Baron, 57, MP for Basildon and Billericay, in Essex, was instrumental in pushing a reluctant Conservative leadership into committing to the referendum .....
He is standing on his record as a long-time Brexit backer, to ensure that the referendum decision is honoured."

I know very little about him, but like his reasons for wanting to stand for PM.

Another person I am really getting to dislike is the Journo; PESTON what a p r a t

Peston is much more human than he used to be. Back in 2008 he spent all his time talking the country down. His new Sunday morning program is quite good - but a bit "zoo radio" and "magazine format". Better than Andrew Marr ("Which daughter of some friend that I went to University with can I get to play music/talk about theatre/be thoroughly Islingtonite about today?!), but nowhere near as good as Andrew Neil. I love raw aggression coupled with good research. Makes for interesting viewing. (OK - he can be charming and civilised - but usually only to coax a tiddler into his gaping maw). You're right - I should get out more.

Having said that I've just been out in the drizzle and tested the temperature at my local in Staffs Moorlands. Everyone is happy with the way they voted. :)

P.S. That was 65% Leave, 35% remain.

If you have ever tried the grape soda canned drink that D&G make, or remember the big grape hollow bubble gum balls, that is exactly what it reminds me of.
Ah, thinking about it Bob i do remember the Bubble Gum, was it a sort of sour taste ?

Can't say I've heard him much lately. From what I remember, there's far worse

I like Andrew Neale too.

Good! We're happy too - sadly our younger son was quite glum about it all today though - whereas, talking to our elder one yesterday, he was quite happy with everything so far.

Is it just me or are there some worrying undercurrents with the choice of candidates and subsequent new PM? ...it feels that mostly the 'remain' ones are trying to stich us up in some way- not sure how, but it doesn't feel quite right. I don't feel happy that some will try and make us part of the single market - would rather we looked after our own interests at last.

I don't think I ever tried anything like that. Was going to try the Grape one from NT as they just made a special run that originally was to be High VG, but finally turned out not to be, so I don't get to try that.
I don't much care for fruit without cream/custard anyway, so perhaps no great deal that I haven't had any like that.

Have you tried the sherbet dumbledore yet pipe ? I just had another email from them & this weeks offer is American grape soda. !
I won`t bother buying any more from them until i have tried the other 2 i have.

Well - the Dumbledore tastes lemony but not fizzy. Bit of a let down in that department to be honest.

Yes. We must not be sold short having jumped over such a big hurdle. It was inevitable that this would happen, but we must resist. I'm particularly surprised by people like Dan Hannan suddenly falling over. Perhaps it is that they're all tired after a long campaign - but it won't do. They must screw their courage to the sticking-place - and we'll not fail! :)

I think the red one was sour, not sure of the flavour, but the purple coloured grape one was very sweet
Hmm, not sure it`s for me then :)

Thanks, another one i`ll probably not bother with then. Sounds the same as the Apple pie i`m vaping right now, i get the Apple but not much else.
Loved Nigel Farage giving it to them today ! Tickles me that chap

I totally agree, but in this, we have no input really - how much input do you as a party member get?

I heard Cameron state today that yes, he took a gamble and it backfired on him! So blatantly obvious that they arrogantly assumed that they would win, and so there is no plan, and some are frantically trying to devise one.

Delaying the result of the new PM appointment, could be a good thing, but could be a bad thing ...too much time to devise a devious plan to stitch us up.
Much as I do not want anything like a referendum, the notion by Hunt to hold one regarding the issue of Single Market may not be a bad thing if the vote result was for the best way.
I assumed that the question would not arise, but alarm bells rang in the article by Boris.

Am I right in thinking that being in the single Market - if we could do that of course - would mean the same restrictions on what we can have or sell ...and wouldn't that have some impact on what we can sell to non EU countries?

It may have been a bit 'ungentlemanly' but was certainly funny! Gave a bit of light entertainment.
I remarked as such this afternoon when our younger son called in, and he was really glum about the fact that we find any of this something to laugh about! Oops! We knew he'd voted 'remain', but didn't expect the gloomy response to that! (The elder son voted 'out'!)

I think that if we stay within the single market, that would mean that freedom of movement stays in place Trish, in other words, no we don`t need that.

It may have been a bit 'ungentlemanly'
 That`s what i like about him. Says it as it is !!

We don't, and that's what I'm afraid of - and this afternoon, someone at the EU stated that we seemed to think we could have the Single Market but also gain full control of our immigration and borders, and he said quite emphatically that this was not possible.
I'm not sure the Single Market rules alone (regarding who we trade with) are good for us. I'd prefer us to have full control over our own manufacturing, sales and purchases.
This is what alarmed me with that article Boris wrote - I wasn't expecting that, and it sounded as though he's trying to please both out and remain!
As for Theresa May, no-one really knows what her policies & intentions are (as far as I know).

Depends who else stands for PM, but those two are favourites already. Not that favourites always win though, but seeing so much of the government are for 'remain' they may decide to give it to whoever was most likely to sell us short.

My own fault for letting it all get to me, but I've not been too well this past couple of days (as in that which I'm almost recovered from - or was!)
We need to hear something levelling and reassuring enough to trust them to get on with what they're paid for.
 That`s what i like about him. Says it as it is !!
Absolutely! Makes a change from those that say one thing yet intend something else altogether!

When the Tory MPs/1922 Committee have selected, via a ballot process, two candidates to compete for the role of leader, the membership vote on who that will be. I understand that, to prevent a "Corbyn" scenario of thousands of new members signing up just to vote, you will need to have been a member for a while in order to vote this time.

The problem with full access to the single market is that free movement of people comes with the deal. We would be better off imho making trade arrangements with individual countries. After all, we voted to leave rather than to carry on as before.
