Turbo I made a couple very similar to the connection you showed in the pic . I found if I was a total jerk I could damage it eventually with a large atomizer . They never leaked but it was enough to make me take another path . I have a complete hoople proof 510 connection one could wrench his 10 pound atomizer with every bit of strength he could muster up and it wont budge .

Again with the teasing? For such a humble guy, you are great at creating need/want. :)
For most people this kind of connection is way over kill . I just want it bullet proof not a huge fan of repairing mods . I dont no what has happened in the vape world the last year its seems many of the new vapers never learned the basic rules of running a mod - e cig

The new connections wont be out for some time . Once there ready anyone is welcome to send there mod in for the upgrade . Honestly if your not having problems there is no need

I am looking at getting my first mod from you. Are there going to be any other upgrades on the upcoming revision? I will probably end up ordering a total of two mods by the end of the year (Lp Grands), and most likely another two at the beginning of next year (undecided). These are for my wife and I. I would prefer to keep the differences in looks to a minimum that way we don't argue about which mod the other uses. Different colors are fine but different ergonomics or shape might present a problem. Lastly, when do you think these will be ready for the public? I may end up buying an i-stick for my wife and then gift it to some friends if the wait is worth it.

I would buy whatever Reo you need for now, it is highly unlikely there will be any visual difference between a current Reo and a Reo with the new 510 (but I've been wrong before!). Any new bits that Rob comes out with will fit an earlier model, so if you really feel the need to upgrade at some later stage, it can be done. If I wanted to order a new Reo tomorrow, I wouldn't be waiting around for the new 510 to come out. The original 510's have been working fine for most people for the last 4 years. For the OCD people, the adjustable 510 will allow the placement of the air hole to within one degree, without vise grips and 3 mates to hold the mod down

I'm anxious to see what you came up with. I put this one together and it's really strong, I got this atty super tight with an o ring in the groove and it's very solid. I see the mod breaking in half before this thing goes anywhere now

It's because vaping has become known to more people Rob. A few years ago it wasn't something known and for us that got into it early we had to sit and read these forums and educate ourselves to find out how the heck to vape without killing ourselves. Now anyone can go get an ecig without really knowing the front from the back. The amount of times I've read in posts things like "I've started vaping in the last 2 weeks and just made some killer 0.12 ohm coils" is actually shocking.
The problem today is that with all the cheap quality clones and knock off china batteries out there potential for disaster is really high for someone not knowing what they're doing.

Any interest in taking orders for modding Reos to DNA30s for us average jerks who don't have your jedi skills? I, for one, would happily exchange American dollars for such a service.

It would fall through the hole on a woodvil .
I am on the final stages of my prints for the new 510 connections for the grands . Adjustable unbreakable I wouldn't even be looking at other options . These will go into production in about 2 weeks

Would you be changing all of the 510s in the grands you have currently for sale?

No worries, bud. Figured it couldn't hurt to ask.
