Yes once there ready anyone can send there mod in for a retrofit

Well, Rob I grew impatient:laugh: You have one more proud American that bought your quality American made REO. Thank you for keeping your prices reasonable, and quality standards high. I may eventually send it in for retrofit after I presumably buy another 3+ REO's. Now the wait begins for all my vapemail.

Lastly, is there going to be a user upgrade kit?

The 510 replacement will need to be done in my shop its not something the average bear would do at home

Understandable. I did not know if it was a drill and tap modification plus some soldering or just a basic drop in replacement. Personally, anymore, if it is more than a drop in fix, I prefer to just let the manufacturer handle the work. That is, if they charge a reasonable price like I have heard about you.

Rob is known for fast turnaround time and very reasonable rates, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

If it was a drill and tap operation that would be doable by a few owners, but if it involves pulling the old connector and pressing in the new one, I think we would need some sort of Reo 510 puller and a press, and the skill to not demolish the mod in the process :)

Here is a long shot question:
Will there still be a need for the LP models with the new adjustable 510 set up?
Or will Oden style atties fit on the new model 510?

I'll bet the price of the old one's will be dropping soon huh? lol

You will still need an LP. The threads on the atty must reach the 510 and the catchcup on a non LP prevent that.
