What is the OD of the Atomic? Can't seem to find it anywhere. It looks like its 20mm, but would like to know for sure...
Here is my setup. Nimbus with clear cap. Used a dremel to cut 2 slots in the center post for the juice to feed up.

I cut a channel in the positive post with a Dremel and cutting wheel. There's nothing that makes the Atomic any different than any other RDA that I've modded for bottom-feed.
Just make sure the channel isn't cut so high that it cuts into the female threads at the top of the post.
How about a chubby atty? It is just a tiny bit too wide to fit on a regular grand. 15.75mm diamter. Reactor RBA by Madz Modz. Cut channels down center pin with dremel to make bottom fed.

Nope. The overall diameter looks to be about 1mm narrower than the ledge.
It does not hang over the drip well at all. The Atomic is 19mmx23mm so it is a larger RDA than the Cyclone AFC or RM2 but the three post design allows a little more flexibility with builds and ease of installation. I have only used it for a day now but my standard build has been performing well. Depending on mood I switch between the 2mm and 3mm airholes.
My new Kanthal just arrived so I will get some play time with coil building this evening. Hope to find a build that can out perform my Cyclone AFC build.

I don't have access to a dremel (next paycheck!), so I drilled a hole through the 510 and then, through the airhole, drilled two holes in the positive post.

Coil build is .39 ohms, 9 wraps 26 gauge kanthal. 1 second pulls gets me crazy with nicotine at 12 mg lol.
Here's the bottom feed modifications

I am now truly impressed with this Atomic by MCV. I had plans to take some time and polish it up this weekend but I couldn't put it down long enough to complete the work. I have noticed that with the 24 ga I do need to re-wick every couple of days to maintain peak flavor. The vapor is on par with my usual builds of twisted8 28ga on my Cyclone but the flavor is actually better in spite of the larger chamber. Coil placement is much higher than I am used to so I am using longer wicks to ensure coil saturation and allow for more drags in between squonks.
Need to find a build to renew my interest in my Cyclone because right now the Atomic has taken top honors from this REOnaut.
