Question. I can't find any cyclones out there for sale that are bf. I found a good deal on a top fed cyclone with afc though. Does anyone know where I might be able to get that modified? And would you recommend doing that or waiting until they maybe come out with more?

THESE GUYS in the phillipines have the BF Cyclone in stock I just ordered another from them.....The shipping is a REDICULOUS $20 but even with that included the total price is about the same as a US seller

I had 11 wraps of 24ga at 1/16" I.D., .32 ohm. Gonna go back to 9 wraps of 26 I think.

Is that a parralel coil? Just curious why such a long coil for a rda that was setup for individual duals..... If your still feeling froggy try dual 24ga 8 turns/9 wraps around 3/32" I like it on my IGO-T..

It was dual 11 wrap. Took forever to heat up. It's been a crazy weekend, haven't had time to rebuild. I'll try your suggestion tomorrow, thanks

that is a lot of wraps on a mechanical/ non regulated device. I have been playing with both 24 and 26ga a lot lately, is there a specific resistance you are looking for or just playing with the Helios and F/V/TH?

Just playing, really. The slot on the afc is pretty wide and I added another airhole, so I thought I'd make a long coil to take advantage of it. Made some 8 wrap, 26ga, 5/64" ID duals @ .4ohm for it last night. Vapor production is great, but the flavor is much better on the atomic. The helios has a much bigger chamber. I'm gonna try an find some 3/32" tig rod at work today to make a new coil mandrel and see if lowered resistance might boost the flavor a bit. If not, I'll switch back to the atomic.

AH...yea I might do that many wraps with a parallel coil or if i were to use a regulated device, but a dual 11 wrap would definetly have some lag time on a mech.

I also find that even with my Atomic I prefer the 2mm holes over the 3mm for flavor, I still get some great vapor production but the larger airhole size diminishes the great F/TH. If I am not super busy tonight I may look into making a comparison video using the exact same build but just switching the airhole size just to give people an idea of a build that has great performance between both of the larger on the Atomic.

Winner, winner chicken dinner! Got this Trident in the classies from Smokke, have to put in a plug for him here. He always seems to have some great gear for sale at great prices, his shipping speed was stellar, this was the first I've ordered from him and won't be the last.

Anyway here it is

Of all the atties I have converted, this one just seems made for a REO. Converted by cutting out about 25% of the insulator. It squonks and drains like a dream, the AFC is great and it Vapes like a champ. The positive pin is copper if that is a concern for you, I didn't drill it for that reason. All in all my favorite conversion so far

How about a chubby atty? It is just a tiny bit too wide to fit on a regular grand. 15.75mm diamter. Reactor RBA by Madz Modz. Cut channels down center pin with dremel to make bottom fed.

After I saw your picture, I had to seek out a Reactor. Flavor is great, and it looks even better. It challenges my atomic for favorite atty.

Thanks for the idea!

No Magmas yet? I'm getting ready for my new LP next Tuesday, and I really like that RDA, especially for traveling. Screw on cap so the AFC can't move, deep well so little chance of leakage, great flavor etc. But I tried to drill the center pin and a new bit didn't even scratch the SS (I assume) center pin. There is virtually no insulator either. The center pin is very wide. Has anybody had luck with bf conversion on the Magma?
