I think I'll give them a try. Does this mean I need to get a nipple cleaner?

Good call, I just slipped over there and got 20 of the 1.5Ω right now.
Man they are working good for me .... Only been using them solid for a week, but its been a great week.

Bye Bye Cisco and your 9 dollar atty plus 8.75% NY tax :)

I've been using the joye around 3 months now. i buy the bulk 10 fro Vapor King and have maybe bought 3 boxes of regular and 1 box LR. The great thing is i have 5 REOs, 20 attys in rotation depending on the juice I'm using and haven't lost one yet. When I clog up 10 I put about an inch of 150 smirnof vodka, (not sure of that spelling) in a $20 ultrasonic cleaner cycle it 3 times, (3 cycles, 3 minutes each total of 9 inutes) and WALA there like new again!!! May never need to buy another atty if this keeps up.

Do you add water to your cleaner with the vodka? I have used hot distilled water in my cleaner, but it doesn't help too much with the clogging.

NO SIR, STRAIGHT and if you leave it sit for a moment you can see a blackish cloud rising prior to turning it on.
I initially tried it with hot water and it yeilding little results.
The vodka is as much of a key as the cleaner

I'm getting ready to order some 306 LR Atties from Avid Vapor for my REO mini. The one I was using died (well, maybe- I flooded it severely shortly before it bit the dust, so maybe I can resurrect it by cleaning it). I have another 306, but the drip tip I have doesn't fit correctly. It's way too loose and it slides right off when I try to vape with it. I bought it a while back and I can't remember where I got that one. I'm hoping the tip I have will fit the Cisco's. Just to be on the safe side, I'm getting the 2 atties +drip tip deal for $20.

My question is, does anyone know if the red drip tip more or less matches the color of red on the REO mini. It looks brighter on the computer and if it doesn't match, I think I'd rather go with black (my mini is black/red). Does anyone know how well it matches? I don't want my mini to be a bad dresser!

To answer your question. No, it doesn't really match the reo all to much. You can clearly see the difference and now, I just stick with my XL delrin drip tip. It doesn't burn and get to hot and it fits perfectly.

Oh yeah, you don't have to worry about the atty burning a hole into your drip tip neither.

I vape the grand at 6 and 7.4 V. Have used IKV HV 510s in rotation and they work great. Every day or two, I blow warm water through one, and set it aside. Same 4 attys for 7 wks. All great. I also like the IKV shorty 801, the cannons, and the 901 all HV.

You use those 3.5Ω IKVs at 7.4 ???

I love them at 6 but 7.4 seems like I would need a 4.5 at least :)

I never dry burn mine .... with the steam cleaner there is no need to.

The only thing I have ever dry burned (on purpose) were the old CE2 cartos.
You had to get the chinese rat urine out of the wick on those back in the day.
