Oh and, yes, do try it. vaping it as I tap this and it's sooooooo good. Tastes vary, and this gunk coils a bit faster than some, but I don't think you'll be disappointed. And if ya don't like it, trade it to me ;)

I just bought a REO and a Cyclone BF and I intend to make that my "fuggly gunk coil" DIY setup - easy to clean as I will be using ReadyxWick and SS coils. Feds be damned...I survived 4 kids and a 28 year (and counting) marriage - they don't scare me!

To be honest, it get's hard to tell. LOL But I'll be getting back to you, fer sure! :D Good luck.

p.s. I just got a rude awakening about M-type which I'd just used very sparingly. Blew off a 100ml batch with my small TA % values. Totally sublimated every flavor. Thought I'd gotten spontaneous vaper tongue. :| It must take some special kind of wits to use that stuff. Beyond me.

I haven't seen too many people who are a fan of M-type, but it does have a small following who swear by it. As I understand it, it needs a long long time to steep.

I need to check out that setup but don't understand the abbreviations - specifically the Cyclone and the REO... Would appreciate a link to the hardware you are referring to.

Yeah, M type is a big pass for me. Dull, zero depth to my buds.

After three years I still have nightmares about M-type; mixed at 7% per reviewer on TFA website

They got it right :)

This is part of the last bits of my vapapocolypses. Mechs and rebuildables are essential to my plan. REOs have stood the test of time - there are other Bottom Feeder mods and atties out there but they are well above what I am able to pay right now. Keep a watch on the classies - and vape deals - as all this unfolds (or caves in around us) I suspect plenty of deals as folks upload gear and shops start slashing prices to ot get stuck with merchandise they can't sell due to regs.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions.

Glad you said this, it's something that confuses me. In my 'Order Details' Inawera Garuda is called a TA.
"Tobacco Absolute Garuda WG-INW"

In reading these threads I've seen the suggestion to use a TA with what I think is already a TA. Is TA used loosely for non-TA's and there's products that are actual TA's?

The INW Garuda TA makes a cloudy juice like the RTS TA but the INW Virginia doesn't, its golden clear. The Garuda adds to the grassy taste of my hangsen tobacs...good vapin.

Hey, mind if I ask you a Q bud? How much Garuda do you recommend I add to my Hangsen Desert Ship mix? I'm thinking of mixing a large batch tonight of 7% DS, 1% AP, 1% EM which I absolutely love. I know I also love Garuda so I can't imagine it going wrong, or else I'd make a small batch for trial first. But I'm thinking of just tossing it into a big batch at maybe, like, 1%? What do you suggest?

Yeah planning to grab a couple mech myself, even though I don't love them. The regulated vw stuff won't last, but those mech are all but indestructible.

I finally tossed the 4oz bottle (I know, pretty dumb) that I've had in the cupboard for the past 2 years. Made the mistake of dumping it down the drain and it took 2 days (with the doors and windows open) for the smell to finally clear out of the house.

I make my tobacs and TA's as 100ml standalones. My Desert Ship is 6% and Garuda is 5%. I blend 60HS/40Garuda to make 50mls. I have no idea on percentages to use in a calc but I just make 50mls at a time then change the percentages to have the same yet different vape for the next jug. If I feel dangerous I will add 1-2% AP but don't add any sweeteners since IMO the VG is plenty sweet for me. I have never followed a recipe to make a juice but I find the blending easiest since I like all the flavors I'm blending so almost nothing can go wrong.
My standalone tobacs sit well over a month before I get to using them then after I blend the juices I let them steep another week before I partake.

I more and more do your type of mixing. I've been making my ADV's for so long now I just fill a 120ml bottle to a certain point with base then use a syringe and measure flavoring to the same old hash mark and add it. I know without calculating how far to fill a syringe to equal a certain percentage. Some times I feel like a robot knowing automatically how much to use.

Though unimpressed with the prior generation of FA's tobaccos, have been enjoying their SOHO -- a nice clean nutty tobacco. Strikes me as quite similar to HG's Number 5.

With FDA deeming actions, wanted to boost reserves of flavor concentrates so violated my own rules and stocked up with some FA Burly and Glory, and 10ml of their Layton Blend. Anybody have experience with these?

Burley and Glory both smell of true tobacco. Layton Blend seems most interesting with hints of vanilla and spice. Will post back when I have a chance to mix and sample.

I have tried FA Burley, and it does have a realistic tobacco taste. Just not my type of flavor since it reminds me of those cheap cigars I used to buy at the gas station. Some of their other tobaccos are excellent. Max Blend is quite good with a realistic tobacco taste way in the background - and a hint of caramel/vanilla. It's a toned down version of RY4. To me their star tobacco flavor is 7Leaves Ultimate, even though it is not too popular.

Get back with your impressions, especially of Glory. That's one on my to-try list.

I'm not too much of a nutty tobacco mix type vaper, but, the FA Glory does have a nice flavor.

FA Glory will hit the mark for being an all day stand alone flavor for nutty tobacco lovers. Thoughts of a DK 555 with its slightly sweet, nutty, dark caramel tones come to mind.
