Well guys and gals, all the fun just got sucked out of vaping for me now. In one stroke of the pen my desire for whats new and hot has been eroded. It's solely a fight for survival now, just to stay off smokes. I have my supplies to make it through, but I am going to miss the hobby aspect. Sure I can still do what I do now, but all the cool stuff I knew was on the horizon doesn't matter to me anymore. I don't even care to banter back and forth on who has better gear and even a good spirited AP/DAP discussion seems moot now.

At least I got to experience the "golden era" of vape tech, too bad I had to witness it's death so soon as well.

Another big thank you to our government.

You still have 2+ years for hobby (China is not a far away country). And even after it's not over till it's really over. Regulations could be watered down, or at least we can hope so.
Really dude, I mean really? China is pretty far away and far from reliable....and you still have HOPE, are you kidding me, HOPE went out the window this weekend as far as I can tell.

For me vape tech hit it's peak about 2 or 3 years ago. All the advancements since then haven't really been appealing to me. I don't feel sad for me, I feel sad for future vapors. Particularly those who as a result of the FDA ruling will now think vaping is as bad as smoking so they won't switch.

With any brains, Congress will step in and make their determinations within the two years and settle some issues. Plus, someone somewhere will find out who in the FDA has a lot of money tied up with big tobacco and put them on notice. Lastly, if more studies are released about the advantages of vaping v. smoking, that would give us more ammo for a real fight against the FDA and their crap agenda.

It's cute how you still think this is about health and that there are those in control who actually care if you live or die.
