Another PR release via Banzhaf that criticizes the FDA for ignoring the true dangers of e-cigs and proclaims the press release was due to pressure from he and his cohorts.

FDA Ignores Major Dangers of E-Cigarettes // PR Blitz Prompted by NBC-TV Report That Evening

Excerpt of what Mr Banzhaf thinks the mandated role of the FDA is:

"The role of the FDA is not just to warn people about new drug products once their market becomes established, but rather to that they are not marketed until their safety have been authoritatively and impartially established, and then only with appropriate safeguards like warnings and possibly even prescription requirements," suggests Prof. Banzhaf, Executive Director of Action on Smoking and Health (ASH), America's first antismoking organization." (Love the self promotion)

My comment: I guess Mr Banzhaf is ignorant of the mass sales of Chantix that were later given a "black box" warning after a myriad of side effects were reported. The same could be said for numerous prescription meds and even non-prescribed meds such as hydroxycut and tylenol products.

Stupid is as stupid does!

Notice all the "mays" and "mights" and "coulds" and "ifs."

This piece is 100% speculatory. I highly doubt it will get any press.
