I consider the ability to use my PV pretty much any time and anywhere I want a MAJOR convenience, but the fact that I can't yet buy supplies as easily as I can get cigarettes from nearly any store is a serious inconvenience.
Not to mention not having to drive to the store to buy more smokes all the time.
And not having to roll down my car windows regardless of the weather.
:)

This!

I haven't, yet, run into a situation where I'm feeling drowsy so I vape. I used to light up a smoke, roll down the window, and I'd be wide awake. (If I'm actually dozing, I DO pull over though!)

Perhaps more enjoyable and cost effective would be better. One thing I would not call vaping is more convenient than smoking. Or perhaps cleaner you know no ashes all over the place no tar stains on the wall... but vaping is a bit more trouble than lighting up in all honesty.
Well, my wife would agree with you...she drips and uses cartridges...I use Reo's...so I would say it's easier to vape than to smoke- that's what it took for me to quit analogs...really depends on what you're using to vape with. Sorry, I digress- I'm off topic as to what this thread is about...

As a dripper, I would have to say, vaping is far more convenient for me than smoking ever was.
But for anyone using cartridges or cartomizers, yeah, probably not as convenient.
:)

See I actually find my cartos more convenient than dripping. I use the condom fill method and it's almost as convenient as flicking a lighter to me (not quite). I am apparently very bad at dripping. When I drip it loses flavor too early I drip again and voilla! We have a leak.... ugh! I gave up and switched to cartos.

I don't see any red flags in the FDA's proposed regulation cited in the first posting on this thread.

Its just clarifying several items that were already understood.

It has no impact on e-cigarettes.

That is very comforting to me because I listened to that radio show and you seem t have a very good grasp of what we can expect in the future now that we've been classified as tobacco.

THIS BIG TIME. I can tear a computer apart and put it back together (working) in about 20 minutes.

I can bake a batch of snickerdoodles and NEVER use a measuring cup or spoons, but I can NOT, to save my LIFE, figure out dripping LOL :danger:

You might want to look into the new "T"ank systems. They make them for the Joye510 and the Ego. You can reuse your manual batteries from these models, but you need a special atomizer and cartridge. The cartridge has a see-through tank so you can tell how much liquid you have. The atomizer punches a tiny hole in the bottom of the tank and the liquid is dripped for you when you activate the unit by pressing the button on the battery and inhaling. The batteries that come with Ego-T kits have a shut-off switch that works by pressing the battery button 5 times quickly.

What I like is that there is no filler material that might be accidentally vaporized if you let the cartridge get too dry. Also, the tanks hold a lot more than a cartridge plus filler -- 1.2 ml Capacity. The 510-t holds over half a ml.

I ordered an Ego-T kit, plus an extra atomizer for my two regular Ego batteries, to turn them into tank systems.

I may try that because I'm wanting to get an ego REALLY bad anyway.

So to get this back on track - What does all this mean for individual importers who retail the products they sell? What about distribution outlets?

Second to this, if GNC (and every other pharmacy/health store) can sell thousands of 'supplements' that are NOT FDA approved because they make no health claims why can't e-cigs/liquid do the same? Is it just because there is nic in the juice? If so, why not market strictly non-nic juice and provide instruction on how to optimize it for personal usage? Could that be a way around it all?
