with so much information out there its alot to really read and take in. so in a nutshell what is going to happen and what does that mean for us as vapors?

An unregulated market is about to be met with federally mandated regulations. What that may mean precisely for you as a vaper is really challenging to determine. Anyone that tells you they know specifically, I would STRONGLY URGE YOU to take with a grain of salt.

also is their any other information we should be aware of/watch out for?

Read up on / skim the threads in this (FDA) sub-forum and legislative sub-forum and chances are you'll be up to speed in no time.

In a nutshell:

since vaping "looks like" smoking,
the FDA is trying to get a law passed that would force-fit tobacco and smoking laws to vaping.

What they should be doing is generating compliance standards for the industry to aim for.
Like what level of lead is in your tank? Is there glue holding your tank together? If so, what kind of glue?
What is the insulator material used in the vacinity of the coil?
