I don't see where I can hide or un-hide my IP address and I don't see anywhere in the browser where I have a proxy set up. I know in the past that sites could see my IP address since if you took a poll or liked or disliked a comment, they knew it was done once. The only thing I can think of is that Hughesnet did something on their end since nothing on my end has changed.

it could be a proxy and cookie check, more then likely.

proxy to make sure you aren't cheating

cookie is set to make sure you can't vote over and over again.
They may be checking for known spammers. The bulletin Boards I run automatically check ip addresses against spam lists.

Traver posted a link to FDA's public input forum inviting comments. I checked it out, there was only 1 comment there last night when I left my comment. I guess that means they have room for A LOT more comments.

Brightest Blessings!

I did some roaming on their website and ran across this:

ECF- “The Worlds Largest e-cigarette Forum” on the CRE IPD (Interactive Public Docket) for TPSAC

ECF- “The Worlds Largest e-cigarette Forum

Are they just answering Traver's post, or what? Sure does confirm that ECF is widely read!!

You might also comment here regarding regulatory actions related to e-cigarettes.

ECF- “The Worlds Largest e-cigarette Forum

About Us

This Forum is managed by the Center for Regulatory Effectiveness, a regulatory watchdog founded and managed by former regulatory officials of the White House Office of Management and Budget. CRE manages a number of websites dedicated to increasing the transparency of the federal regulatory process.

The Forum is an Interactive Public Docket (IPD) which allows the public to communicate with the TPSAC on a 24/7 basis. The Forum receives two types of comments.

I commented also..... hopefully numbers will make a difference.

I'm sure that numbers do make a difference. Just as important is to respond to as many articles on the net as posable. To me it seems that over the last few months these articles have become a lot less biased than they used to be.
