Hi this is the first post that I have started and hope this is the right spot.
I vape in the car, work or even just walking around. I keep reading peeps post and there seems so many people afraid to vape were they can be seen. I read a blog last night about this, forgot who posted it.
It just seems that so many of us are afraid to vape and be seen.
Why is my question. So far I have sent people to the local smoke shop to get a throw away to at lest try. I love people stopping me for a min or 2 just to ask questions.
No I am not feeling like I am saving lifes, but I feel that a few mins of my time to let people know where to get one and help put the fear of a new tobacco input is worth it.
I just work at a little Blockbuster in town, and we get everyone. I have talked to the bestbuy manager, some of the restaurant owners. They might not have stopped the real cigs, but they now are letting me know they will allow us to vape in their places.
So I just want to end with vape without shame, if anything people know what we are doing now and willing to at lest look into it.

In the land of no hills and red dirt
I've vaped in local restaurants, stores, non smoking twelve step meetings, and even my county courthouse.

I've never had anyone confront me about doing it, but have always been questioned.

If you do it, stealth vape and hold it in until you can't really see the vapor. Don't be an immature a$$wipe and visibly blow vape rings in a non smoking area. If you're confronted, explain how it's not smoking, but offer to quit if the other person is still acting offended. I think it's the smell of stink sticks that people don't like.

Oh, if you think the person asking is a non smoker, tell them it's a type of nicotine inhaler, and they'll congratulate and encourage you. :D

I think that people are scared and confused about what they don't understand. Trust me, there's plenty of non-smokers who will never understand because they've never experienced what nicotine addiction and withdrawl feels like. I've vaped in public, but with caution and respect..... but people still scowl at you. Oh well. :|

Oh I am not saying to do it in a place you haven't gotten the okay, or just to cause you can. I am saying I keep hearing about hiding it. If you have to hide it or stealth vape I am sorry ya shouldn't be vapeing there. I always ask before I pull it out at a business or someones home. If ya have to vape in the bathroom cause they don't want you to vape go outside. We have to make sure that we don't give vapers a bad name. but the glares, I don't care and they can glare, they want to get nasty they look like the ......

Just thought I would drop my two cents worth in here.

The whole reason I started on the PV thing was because I'm not allowed to smoke in my house any more. I used to be able to in the basement where my Ham radio and computers are but that got cut last spring. Since then I've been relegated to the garage or my truck (it's my truck and she can take her own car if she wants).

I picked up the Clean Smoke free trial (I know big mistake, look at my thread on that one) and gave it a try in the house at the kitchen table. She was amazed and said she didn't smell anything. She asked if it was smoke and I gave her the URL for more info. Well I've only had this thing for three days now but I'm allowed to use it in the basement so I can get back to my hobbies instead of freezing my but off in the garage all night.
