Rad Vapor downtown has mainly beginner setups. They do carry some Pink Spot and ***** ***** there though. J Vapes carries their entire line of juices (which are REALLY good), eGo setups, mech mods, rebuildables, APV's, and Vapelyfe gear. For more variety, I'd probably go to J Vapes, though Rad is decent enough as well if you need some juices or back up batteries. Good luck!

If you will be in town on October 26th, we're having a vape meet at the Old Chicago's on Academy and Austin Bluffs. Giveaways, hang out, etc. Check out the event info on this Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/socovapers

I'll be there too! I was hoping to have my SVD in by then, but it looks like I got caught by the HK black hole. :(

I live in a very conservative city, but there are a TON of smokers here. I'd love to openly vape so people become familiar with it, but I have seen NO ONE else vaping around town. What's a girl to do???

Be the first. Vape openly just about anywhere but respectfully and with common sense. And educate yourself well on vaping so you can educate the uninformed and misinformed.

Thanks for the tip Ha Traffic youve never been to LA, New York, or Manilla! The Springs has no traffic.

Lol, I'm a Cali transplant. I was born in Monterey and lived in San Jose until '85. Yeah, I'm familiar with it and don't care to deal with it if I don't have too. I've heard stories from friends about Manilla and others...they sound like nightmares to me!

Savoir-Faire is everywhere!
I do vape in resturants, but most mpeople dont notice it. I do the "double-triple inhale" and exhale downwards. They dont see the vapor that way. Its the same as I do in a theater.

They do see my Mod go in my mouth and on the table, but usually just go back to eating when they dont see all that cloud. When you get the stealth vaping down pat, most folks dont know what your doing, and those that do end up giving you a little smile.....

That's what I do.

Wow Dunkin Donut's prohibiting vaping? I'll never give them another red cent.

Or anyone else ignorant enough to to support a death campaign. Because every entity that opposes vaping encourages a smoker to keep killing themselves, and that is nothing less than a death campaign.

That being said, how I vape depends on what mood I am in. If I want to engage in a potential spiel re: e-cigs than I will vape away wherever because in the end I know I will win any verbal opposition to the virtues of e-cigs. Period. Or if I want to give a smoker the opportunity to engage in talk about "is that one of those...." type of dialogues.

I did have an experience a while back when a dude walked by, looked around then looked at me with a grin like " Dude your pretty brave doin' that out in the open and all" ; of course thinking it was something....well, you know. (I got in trouble when I had just joined this forum a year ago for being specific, so you fill in the blanks :D )

I was pretty dismayed when I asked a bartender at a local brewpub if they allowed vaping and she said no, not even outside on the patio and pointed to a fence 50 ft away and said I could go to the other side of it if I wanted to. I won't go back which is sad since it's within stumbling distance of my house.

Sounds like the vaping section basically is at your house, so no big loss. ;)

This is why the people that think we should only vape where smoking is allowed are just wrong.
Smoking bans have gotten absurd, and subjecting vaping to the same rules is a travesty that must not continue.
