Feel like giving up on my RDA even though I don't want to, I've had it about a month now and don't seem to be getting anywhere. coils are fine but no matter what i do with the wicks it never seems to fully work. The juice never seems to reach the coil after my 1st lot of vapes, i make sure there are no kinks in every build, I've tried alot of cotton, tried a little bit of cotton, even when i think the wick is just right there is always juice left in the ends of the wick that hasn't travelled threw the wick. Starting to feel silly keep asking for help and the users on here are probably thinking 'just give up already'

no sir, don't give up - once you get your groove with wicking you will be rocking - have you checked out the 'scottish roll' technique?

I'll have a look now, cheers, i thought i tried near enough everything, I'm using organic cotton pads so tried peeling both sides of top layer off, just 1 side of top layer, twisting ends and feeding it threw, cutting a coner off and folding it in half to get it threw, making sure there's no kinks, tried different lengths of wicks, lying in bottom of juice weel, just touching the bottom of juice well. Nothing at all seems to work.

seriously? I've seen comments saying they can vape until all the cotton is white again, so i was sort of going off that.
Seriously. Rayon, yes. Cotton? No. And even though the rayon gets white again, it is still wet(ish) to the touch. In general, when the vapor gets thin, or you taste wick, drip some more.

Never heard that myself... You'll burn the cotton long before it gets dry. You can vape pretty close to dry using temp control, but vapor falls way off before it gets close. Just drip more, and enjoy :)

On the subject of temp control, what's the best type of wire? Ive got an IPV4s waiting for me at home and I've only got kanthal wire, would that be ok? Or shall i order something else?

Yeh I'm using an istick 100w at the min but got a IPV4s at home waiting for me and that has temp control, would you recommend any wire for that? I've only got kanthal at the minute.

I've only used Ni200 (Nickel) for temp control, it's all that my mod supports. Not sure about the IPV4, it may also support Ti and/or SS.

Go to your local vape store and buy a bag of Cotton Bacon. Cotton swells up when wet. Rayon (Cellucotton) does not swell up and you can stuff the coil full, Two options for you but vape store would not have Rayon. CHEERS!
Cheers, I've just ordered 2m of rayon, hopefully it'll be at home by the time im back as I'm working away.
