Ok as far as what cotton to use, I'm hearing silica and Rayon? Someone at my vape shop to me to practice with cotton balls first. Once I can get the wicking down, only then will I consider moving on to picking up some wire, a coil jig and any tools I'm going to need.

Really wish I could edit the title of this thread. Looking at it now, I think I came off as a little too negative.
Don't go Silica. Flavor us not so good.

I say unroll a cotton ball and use that for wicking until you have it conquered then go Rayon. It lasts a good long time, can rinse the Rayon out with water allow the Rayon to dry and it is almost like new.

Rayon is more difficult to wick than cotton but well worth it

@Just Want To Quit its a shame you are not near Tucson or I could get you up to speed in less than an hour.

Once you have rebuilt and the vape tastes better you will say v
Bye bye OCC heads.
