I take a drag off this thing, but now I'm light headed and a little spinney. Plus, no vapor at all is coming out of my mouth. Zip.
This isn't based on any sort of research or anything, but when I flood my atomizers, there is very little vapor produced, but I still feel a strong i-just-inhaled-alcohol-vapors sensation and feel a very strong does of nicotine start pumping through my veins. My really-more-of-a-best-guess hypothesis is that:
- eliquid surrounding the coil keeps it too cool to properly vaporize and/or prevents the proper airflow needed to turn the liquid to a vapor
- nicotine still evaporates perfectly fine at the temperature and/or rate of air flow that it's possible to achieve with a flooded atty
- so does the alcohol used in the flavorings and added for TH
So, you get a near-invisible hit of basically pure nicotine and alcohol, which can produce the sensation you're talking about. I smoked way stronger cigarettes than you and use weaker juice, so I never get the whole nicotine buzz thing going on, but I can still tell when I've had more nicotine than my body is used to and this happens a lot when trying to vape the excess fluid out of a flooded atty.
I'd suggest taking your atty off of the battery, removing the cart, and blowing from the bridge end out the threaded end and into a napkin or whatever's handy, then putting the thing back together and seeing how that treats you. Also, the suggestions others had about cutting it with VG were a good idea, since 24mg is a pretty strong juice for someone who smoked like you did.
I don't know how you're using your kit, and it seems odd that it would have flooded right from the start, since I have to assume you're using carts, but...that's what it sounds like is happening to me - but I could very much be completely wrong.
