Is it me or is E-cigs making me tired, and possibly giving me a head ache.

I have seen posts that say, it is nicotine withdrawal. I do not agree. Before starting e-cigs, I was clean for about 14 days (of everything) and did not experience these symptoms.

So why today and not yesterday? Last night, I may have done it a but to long. I took a 2 hour car ride, and swapped between a 8mm cartomiser - menthol and a 0% spearmint. Recon I had 6 or so goes on each (around 12 puffs each time) That is a total of 72 puffs of the 8% nic and 72 of normal.

Maybe it was too much and not enough water. What do you guys think. It says on the label that you may experience drowsiness, well I have

Why start vaping. I drive a lot, sometimes for work, sometime for pleasure. In the evening 2-4 nights a week I like to go for a drive and listen to music, but of course I always do this with a cig in the hand. If I did not have any cigs, I would not go for a drive, and some nights when there is nothing to do I get so bored so want to go for a drive.

Once I was better, I had to drive to work, and in the evenings, and just got so into the habit of smoking while driving.

Funny, I have 2 new packs of M lights in the car - have been on e-cigs for 2 nights now. I thought about having one (while in the car, when they are at arms reach) but did not. Under normal circumstances, with no e-cig I would have already had 10 or so of them, even though I had been clean for 2 weeks.

I am a bit worried about this whole drowsiness and headache thing though. Thing that worries me is, if others get it (which they do as they have posted on this forum) what is it that is doing it. Obviously the e-cig, but that sounds quite potent to me, not the, near health free activity I expected (near free with 0 nic that is)

I try and do it alternatly, so have what I think is 1 cig worth, with 0% nic, then about 5 - 10 mins later have the 8mg nic. I really want to go 0% nic free, and would be up for it, but as yet have not found a good enough TH liquid to do it. I said to myself not to go above the small amount 8 - 11mg nic, so that it would be easier to go completely 0% nic for ever.

I have some cola and CIGAR 0%, was thinking the cigar 0% might have a good TH

It's funny people bring this up because I used to get really really drowsy smoking. But after switching to e-cigs I have a lot more energy. Even so there are times I do free drowsy again.

So in other words I've gotten it from both. Which tells me it's got to be the nic and the way I was deep inhaling. Long slow inhales. I read another post in here recently that I thought sounds like a good explanation. Here it is:

I don't know what kinda throat hit you would get at 0% either. I've not really read much on that yet. Try freedomsmokeusa- they DO have the 0% and awesome flavors. I've not heard anyone complain about lack of TH, but not sure about the 0%. I will go to their forum and post this question right now because, since your new, you can only post in the new members threads, correct? Also, most people do try to wean themselves down on the nic content, so this is a good question

I keep 3 cigs in my pack in my car also. Reason being, because if I don't have them, I will freak out and want an analog. They're kinda like a security blanket and I've not touched them in 2 months.
Having 1 "cigs worth" really doesn't matter much in the vaping world. The nic gets absorbed into your body more like the patch or the gum- not as fast as with an analog
I asked about the 0 nic. I am told that to get a decent throat hit- you will need juice that is a combination of 80%PC and 20%VG (80/20). Also, go for the stronger flavors, such as cinnamon, menthol, spearmint, etc This does make sense to me on the flavors because I vape a combination of the cinnamon and caramel cream (mixed together lol, but it's very good) when I'm having my worst analog urges. Even after 2 months, I still have cravings and I vape the cinnamon like a mad-woman. I hope this helps you. fsusa also has the option of adding extra flavoring to your juice that you order. If you do order from them, their "premixed specialties" are 50/50 and I don't think those would work for you. Check the other categories to find the 80/20. Good luck and I hope all of this helps. As I said earlier DRINK lots of water, tea, etc. Coke and diet coke does not count, trust me on that one. Vaping does tend to dehydrate you, so this is really important here

Thank you all for you help on this matter. I am just filling some carts with cigar flavor, see if that has the throat hit I am looking for.

I think what I am going to do is do a 1 in 4. Therefore do 3 cigs with 0% nic, then one with the 8%. that would be 1/2 less than what I did last night. If I can go all the way with cigar, I will but not sure if TH will be enough. Cinnamon - I will get hold of some of that. Although some have a problem with it.

I'm no doctor, but this sounds like a common symptom of quitting smoking... Depression. It can cause the problems you are experiencing and it doesn't mean that it's just withdrawal of nicotine, but all the other chemicals you are still not getting from a PV. I think I am suffering a bit from it right now. I used to sleep a solid 7-8 hours and lately I have been sleeping for 10-11. I find myself often very fatigued and I have aches and pains that I normally don't have, such as neck and shoulder pain. the strange thing is no matter how tired I am, I can't get myself to fall asleep before about 3 AM no matter how much I want to. I'm not saying this is your issue, but I thought I would bring it up since it is a possible side effect to quitting the analogs, even weeks later. I had an analog last night because I just had a beast of a craving suddenly for some reason, and though the taste was foul and right away it didn't seem to do anything for me, once that head rush came in and that nic high, I felt way better for a while, like I woke up and my aches were lessened. It was quite strange.

Hey guys I skimmed through the posts and have put that and my own account to come to the conclusion that it is definitely not the PG. I first got my e-cig with no nicotine juice and was still smoking (about 6 a day is normal for me), and then found eastmall.net who has $4 20ml bottles. I decided to get the 26mg strength so that I would vape less and maybe cut it. After my first day of using this juice I've felt like crap ever since (a week later). I'm getting enough sleep but it feels like I've been up for days. Also I liken the effects to an amphetamine feeling (such as adderall used for add), but I'm not talking about the good effects just the coming down part (I was on add meds and when I would stop for any period of time I'd feel this effect). I feel tired.. obviously, my concentration is fine but my memory is off, and I'm kind of a zombie right now. I've also had some sharp pains in my chest. I haven't been overdoing it tho, I vape max 1ml of 26mg at most a day. Someone also mentioned that china uses industrial nicotine, the eastmall juice is dekang which seems to be fairly reputable (albeit not liked by some)but who knows. So in summary there must be some additives that some manufacturers are putting into their juice, be it in the flavoring or nicotine used, but its not the PG as I used 0 nic with none of the aforementioned problems. Hopefully this solves this vaping zombies problem, but I'm not kidding myself.
