Slight headaches occassionally... ??

Is it normal to get slight headaches occasionally? I think I have been getting some since I started with the e-cig more then average. Maybe its nicotine withdrawals? I am on 18 mg cartridges and used to smoke Marlboro Lights so I think that should be pretty equal in mg??

Anyrate its not a big issue and it could be because my work is all on the internet and computers so I am on the computer atelast 9 hours per day and just recently got a larger monitor.. so that could be part of the headach thing also I assume.

Any input did anyone else experience slight headaches at first?

There are three very possible reasons...

1) You are getting dehydrated
2) You are getting a little too much nicotine
3) It is a symptom of quitting smoking

Unless you are drinking a lot of water, I think dehydration is a strong possibility.
vaping dehydrates you and you need to drink more water than you used to.

It could be too much nicotine, so I wonder how often you are vaping that 18mg and how many cigarettes you smoked.
But it seems to me that unless you are also feeling a bit sick to your stomach, dehydration might be more likely.

As far as symptoms of quitting smoking, I couldn't say, but I hear that can be one of them.

+1 (or is that +3) to DC2's post. Usually for me, it's the "little too much nic" thing. It's different than smoking.... with smoking you get that "smoked out" feeling, with vaping, it's just the nicotine feeling. You have to really pay attention to it. The water is great advice too. 2 cents.

I really have to pay attention to my non-caffeinated liquid intake. Also, drinking lots of water is really good for the human body anyway... 2 birds, one stone. Give your body some time to adjust. A lot of analogs have additives in them from which your body may be physically withdrawing. Too much nic? Maybe... but again, give your body some time to adjust. 24mg was too much for me at first... but a week later, it was/is perfect

Like the others said, nicotine, lack of fluids, eye strain can all be a cause. But I wanted to post to rely my personal experience. The first 2 days I quit analogs I experienced very mild headaches that I have learned to recognize as ones I used to get when I smoked too much, especially if I started smoking in the morning earlier than usual and for some reason I smoked more than usual as well. So nicotine overdone, in my case, sounded like a great explanation and it felt right. (hard to describe a headache but they have different way they come on and progress).

I am planning to buy some nic free juices to mix with my regular nicotine juices and slowly lower the amount of nic. Sounds like you may want to something along those lines and see if you still get headaches.
