I've found in gaming, comics, and vaping there are always those that stand there like Gandalf on the bridge "You shall not pass!...unless you answer this question correctly".

Gaming:

Them:Oh yeah? what do you play, probably facebook games huh?
Me: I have a library of 300 video games, you'll need to be more specific


Comics (mind you I don't read many, if any but I have my childhood hero tshirts like Hulk, Wonder Woman, etc):

Dumb Guy:Oh your wearing a Hulk shirt. Bet you don't know what he did in *insert comic book here*
Me: I probably don't, but I can tell you in the live action TV show they called his human version David Banner instead of Bruce because they thought Bruce sounded gay!

vaping:

LOL to the bolded part! I have pics if anyone DARES ask for the selfies. They'll get my "circular-breathing while vaping through my nose" disgusting pics, lol! Or the webcam pics of my greasy haired, up too late, jacked up on monster, WW pajama wearing "gross gamer girl" selfies. If they good-heartedly laugh (with, not at me), they're friendlies. If they are grossed out or put off by not getting their vape or gaming porn, I dismiss them. Sometimes, the test to pass the bridge is needed to weed out the pigs.

Today I posted a column about how it's sometimes awesome for female vapers...and it sometimes sucks. In many ways, female vapers are treated like female gamers, comic book fans, tech nerds, etc. Many vaping guys will find vaping gals attractive, but some vape dudes automatically dismiss female vapers (building skills, mech knowledge, etc.).

I don't consider myself a "vape girl/gal", I am a Woman who vapes ... every now again I have observed a "vape dude" that some how believes because he has testicles, he also has some sort of innate advantage when it comes to understanding the mechanics, and technical aspects of vape gear, rebuilding, etc. I don't really care though, its genuinely funny to me ... albeit ludicrous.

As far as intellect, and the ability to learn, understand, and execute, I am not inferior to anyone, and I know this, so its all good.

Self deception is a way of life for some people.

Could it the fact I spent many years practicing martial arts, and boxing? What ever it is I know this: I don't give a crap. If it's sexist comments towards women, then I've probably heard it. When I chewed a couple guys were dumb enough to comment on my can in my back pocket. My reply was " Why in the H were you looking at my ....?" Getting worked up does nothing. Why would I care what men (or anyone else for that matter) thinks... I'm a tech nerd, a vaper, brewer of beer, abuser of the cello, and a whole host of other things that quite frankly are pretty awesome. When I get the right equipment to re-build coils I will be awesome at that as well. I also have boobs. I have no idea why I'm still single, maybe it's because I'm too humble.

You talking lifted pickup or big rig? Yes I do tune ups That's precisely one of the reasons I don't need a man Guys go on and on about how cool it is until they find out you can do it. Or build an engine, switch one out ect. Then when a relationships starts there's lots of hurt pride especially if the woman does it better or knows more

I can drive truck, stick, and change oil and change out a flat tire. But I'm really not good with tools, or getting dirty. That's pretty close, lol! Side effect of being the only girl in a big family of supportive brothers and male adult figures. Beat 'em or join 'em.

I didn't even need to read the rest, you are a Woman after my own heart! Atta girl! ... my spinning back kick could drop the best of em, and I enjoyed a nice shadow boxing style workout this just this past morning.

empowered, intelligent with a loving, female compassion. that's all i really ask. though... if you can swap an engine, i won't complain.

so, either will do just fine, but a class A CDL will get you bonus points.

Well I can drive a truck, and I can shut it down in a 5 speed ... never did a tune up though, but I can learn, I can learn.
