I think you do have the best point in that aftermarket seems to be the only way at this point to have a mod be more identifiable as feminine. BTW I love what you did with the Phidius!
Joyimui, I love all of them. So many females would die to have a mod like one of yours. Please start selling I will snap them up. I have been looking so long for a feminine style pv. Ooooo Bling, Bling, Bling is my thing.
Now that is a Lady's mod if I ever saw one. 4 stars
I think the Bauway Spring kind of fits the bill for a Lady. Classy looking, and functional. (Actually dual function with the outer case used as a PV with a 650mAh battery inside, along with storage room, that includes a 510 e-cig)

I was actually very attracted to the Spring, until I looked at the design.
It's an auto with the electronics sitting just underneath the connector. Granted, everything but the battery seems to be contained, but I'd still be worried about leakage into the battery area. I tend to be a little messy with my e-juice, even when using a carto. With a little design modification though, this would be a great little mod.

The Reo Mini is nice and small (for a box mod) that can be ordered in a few custom colors. My wife had the same problem with other mods, but she found hers to be acceptable.
Would these cases be suitable for modding?
Not sure of the dimensions of the first two, but the description mentions it holds the same as the latter two, which are listed at measuring 5" x 1 3/4" x 5/8" and 5" x 2" x 5/8" (respectively). I like the sleeker rounded corners & decoration of the first two, and all 4 are definitely dude cringeworthy. Plus, if the internal mod components are secure, the second two have a mirrored interior so they could serve a dual purpose.

So far I'm not real fond of the modded solutions offered in this post for us girls -- they are all brave attempts at getting something more feminine but I just want to see some changes in form. I think somebody said that the "trannied-up" solutions with rhinestones and pinkness are still just decoration for an exhaust pipe and I agree with that. I sure hope manufacturers are reading this stuff -- I swear somebody that meets the challenge is going to win big in sales.
When I think of elegance and smoking (and yes I do see the elegance in what is an otherwise nasty habit) there is the longstanding, long-lost female smoking accessory -- the cigarette holder. Cigarette holder - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A holder might seem too formal an accessory but if you read the wiki you'll see there are different lengths of holders suitable for different occasions. I've purchased some short and medium lengths from here in the past TheLadySmokes - Cigarette Holders and Smoking Accessories for the Lady
I use an eGO with a cone atomizer. The battery size doesn't bother me and I think if someone were to mod pipe stems to fit the cone of my eGO -- like the beautiful Italian lucite ones available below from pipemakers.org -- I would definitely be the first in line to pay a premium for one. Basically this would be a longer tip.
Question of balance:
Though the holder would be heavy on the battery end please remember that a holder is typically cradled, palm up, between the index and inside middle fingertip with some pressure from the thumb. I already hold my eGO like a holder -- this modded, longer tip would just add some length.
Opinions? Help?

I have been considering a crutch (cigarette holder) like customization. Two Xlarge 510 batteries would look good with the right mouthpiece and details could be varied for both masculine and feminine styles.
Those holders should be pretty easy for someone with a lathe to make into tips. If their material is fragile a rubber gasket or sleeve might be a good idea for the joint.

those aren't holders -- they are actually pipe stems. problem for me is i don't have lathe or the money to invest in one. that's the reason i was hoping someone here had the ability to do this mod for me and others. alas, no one has responded regarding this . . .

So, how about a combo of the perfume bottle look from the first page and a curved pipe stem? The stem would be longer and more slender than a traditional pipe stem. Maybe it would look a little like this product. What about the very strange long and thin "e-pipe" found here? Maybe even a hookah look, like this one? Sorry about all the DX links; they were just the first thought when I needed representative photos. Thoughts?or

I have a friend who is lathing these pipe stems for me when they arrive. i will post photos when i have them. thanks for the suggestions boris -- personally in my buying so far i've been trying to avoid anything that would resemble a ...., pipe or hookah simply due to the type of attention that might draw. and i like holders so i'm going to go after this mod. will share soon . . .

The one long pipe looks a lot like a cigarette holder imo. I would post a picture directly, but I'm not sure exactly how to do that. It's the one linked here, and I have seen it on at least one other site. Anyhow, I don't know anything about it, like battery life, etc, but I do know that's one big constraint - the size of the battery will limit the length of charge. Bigger batteries are less....discrete, and less attractive.
I'm excited to see what you come up with - not because I want a feminine mod; I just like to see other people's creativity.
I can understand folks not wanting a mod to look too much like paraphernalia, e cigs have enough of an up hill battle, but when looking at this
I can't help but think that the pipe's water area would serve as a great tank reservoir.

You can add something on the end, or just have it be filled in. The body is longer. Yes, it's a crappy 10 minute rushed job, but there ya go. Sorry the watermark is still partially there. Change up the colors, and you have a lovely, elegant pv for any lady.
