Bulli sells fiberglass or you bought it from another store Mr.? I am sorry you had this experience with this e-cig

I bought the bulli before I purchased the GG now I own 2 GGTS.... and will never look back.. Other than the GG upgrades of course

Bulli sells silica but I purchased the fiberglass from else were by mistake. The problem with the bulli it allows to much air into the atomizer which causes a very very harsh vape even with the silica rope in the coil. I changed my connectors to 510 instead of the cigar connectors just to correct the air flow into the atty... But can only get good vapor @ 6.0 or 7.4 volts with the A1 atomizer... but that vaper is to hot for me.

I see what you mean mate. Also did you put on the right resistance for the 3,7 volt option? I mean did you put e.g. 2,5 ohm resistance?

Here is the latest version to be released soon. Previously they had canceled the cotton surrounding the atomizer which was not much healthy. Now they took care of the leakage by putting a silicon top and a rubber seal to the ceramic cup. And no more primer on the atty.

Where the silicon top goes Mist? Between threads and center pole as always was?

Why we need the rubber seal if carto leaks from the bottom as always did (and always needed because carto needs to breath)?

Antileak fiber is the rope?

No Imeo. This specific Carto doesn't leak at all from the bottom. It occasionally leaks just a little from the sides of the ceramic cup, right where the rope sits. And only when the unit is filled beyond this point. So they figured that a silicon ring (called Silicon top anti leak fiber rubber) around the top of the ceramic cup would prevent leakage through these 2 little indentations.

Look at the picture again, you can see the silicon ring, then you can see the Carto from top view, with the ring inserted inside it, just around the ceramic cup, sealing the 2 indentations where the rope sits.

The second area of leakage is from the bottom of the ceramic cup. They just put around it a rubber seal.

Look at the first of the 2 videos that I posted above, where it is shown from where the leakage was reported and you can see much clearly how it was solved with the latest version.

I found this video that is obviously of a left-over from an earlier production batch that was quickly upgraded and sent to the consumer as a new generation (not the latest R4 though, because there is no rubber sealing around the ceramic cup.)

Anyway, in the end of the video, we can see how the silicon ring (called Silicon top anti leak fiber rubber...lol) sits around the top of the ceramic cup to prevent leakage.

Mist, 1 moment to understand. Cartos and atomizers need at least one hole to breath. They breath from center pole or/and side holes on the threads. So any atomizer or cartomizer will leak from those holes either. Am I right?

Yes Imeo. This one apparently breathes from the long tube that holds the ceramic cup. And the liquid doesn't reach the cup.

Because what is different between this carto and the usual ones is that in this one, the coil seem to be only drained with juice, by the wick, which itself goes far under the ceramic cup and into the tank, where the liquid is stocked.

While in old models, the coil and its wick, are all enveloped with cotton, and altogether put inside the liquid tank. That's a big difference that makes this carto half carto/half atomizer.

What seems amazing though, is the ability of the wick to transfer enough liquid from the tank and to the coil, at least enough to have a good functioning device.

I don't know if they worked on the quality of that wick but from what I've seen so far, it seems to endure even dry burns, without burning. Unlike the usual coil used on other cartos or even on other atomizers.
