Filling cartomizer

so.. I got my first cartomizer today.. when I pop it open and look inside there's like... a little straw in the inside with a wire coming up,over the side, and then back down into the ring of filler around the straw.

When I fill this thing up, do I just soak the filer, or should I get juice inside the lil straw as well?

Nope, you want it in the filler to soak into the wick. Although, what I do is just drip into the hole on the battery end (probably not a good idea if you have an auto batt), and give a quick, gentle blow through the battery end. Works pretty well for me.

When you look through the hole in the mouthpiece, you should able to see clearly out the other side. If it looks glassy, like there's fluid in the way, it might be a little overfilled. Blow it out bit onto a paper towel or something.

Hi jynn. There are a few different methods for carto filling. The most common is the "condom fill method". This method involves taking the rubber caps off the carto and using the one without the plug in it for a cup. Drip about 25 drops in it and slowly press the carto into the cup of juice until it shows bubbling out the top hole. I do this with the connecter end up and the mouthpiece in the cup.
The other way is to pop the cap off and just drip it into the filler. I tilt the carto when I do this and rotate it to disperse the juice evenly and to avoid getting it in the center hole. When it goes in the hole it just runs out the other end and gets all over my hand.
