I'm using a Volt, and filling the cartos with the juice I have taste nothing like the pre-filled cartos. It's a much drier, less flavorful vape. Ive tried the condom methods, dripping, letting the juice sit, and I just cant seem to match the flavor. I've got some Halo and Dekang juices, could it just be the juice?

I've got a Riva 510 and some more juice on the way, hopefully it will be better. Anyone else have suggestions and/or been through this before?

I had this problem with a few BWB juices. Using the same methods of filling, waiting etc. with different juices I get huge flavor and clouds of vapor. For me, thick juices presented this same problem, and thin juices hit very well.

However, I would guess that your Dekang juice is very thin and PG based. It should hit well, but will be a small amount of vapor compared to pre-filled, assuming its 100% PG and like my other brand of chinese 100% PG.

I have had great results with my Bloog (exact same as Volt) and 50/50 PureCig from FreedomSmokesUSA. Other random juices have worked well to.

My money is on a juice issue.

My guess is that the pg/vg is different in the liquid you are using to refill. Flavors are stronger in higher pg concentrations.

SI's liquid is pg so if the other liquid you got is anything less than 100% pg you're going to have less intense flavor. Vg is supposed to give more vapor, so it's a balancing act to find what mixture is the best fit for you. I've been refilling my Volt cartos with 100% vg, it's fine but definitely less strong in the flavor department. I'm trying 50/50 next :)

Ah ok, thanks for the advice everyone. I'm actually using blank cartos with the juices. I've got some 80:20 PG:VG liquid from BlustMist that should be hitting my mailbox within the next few days, I'm thinking it will be better. These definitely give more vapor though, so I think they're more of a VG juice.

Just to add the VG juices seem to clog the holy hell out of my carts- standered 808s. That could be affecting the taste. I have been using the 80:20 mix myself from Bluemist and have not had any problems with the cart taste.

Not all juice will taste the same. Keep in mind that the prefilled units have sat for DAYS soaking up the juice, wrapped in the booties and then cellophane. You cant replicate that. You can only come close.
One thing I found was filling before bed and letting them sit, really helped. But I vape to much for this to be feasible all day long ;)

Just wanted to update, I got in my sampler from BlueMist today and mmm mmm, what a difference. Ive been vaping their Caramel Tobacco and Banana Foster so far and both taste and vape great! I'm not sure if its the difference with the 80:20 mix or just way better juice.

I also want to give an extra kudos to BlueMist too, great deal 5 10ml bottles for 20 bucks, plus they gave me an extra (5ml or 3ml??) sample juice. Awesome customer service, fast shipping, and great juice.
